Spectacular 6th floor direct oceanfront condominium. Condo is a newly remolded condo that has granite counter tops, new cabinets, new tile floor, 4 new flat screen TVs. This beautiful condo has two kitchens, two washer/dryer's, and free high speed wireless Internet in the condo.

The master bedroom has a king bed, 42'' flat screen TV and a large relaxing jacuzzi tub with window overlooking the ocean. The living room has sliding glass doors out to the balcony which looks out over the beach, ocean, and historic band shell. The living room also has a queen sleeper in it and a 55'' flat screen TV and DVD player.

There are 2 double beds in one of the guest bedrooms, with a large 32'' TV. The other guest bedroom has a queen bed and a 32'' flat screen TV with a bonus efficiency kitchen in the room.

For the entire family, this resort is a watery paradise, whether you opt to play in the pools - there are two outdoor heated pools open year round, or run into the waves of the ocean. There's a water slide and a ' lazy river ' where kids ( and adults ) can float lazily along on tubes. One pool includes an interactive, aquatic island playground. Ocean Walks beach is car-free and kid-friendly.

Since the resort is right on the sand, it's easy to make quick runs to your room throughout the day, for snacks or breaks from the sun. Indoor and outdoor putting greens, a fitness center, game room and programs for both kids and adults at the resort.

Just south of the resort is the historic Coquina band shell, which often hosts free concerts. If you're gutsy , strap yourself into one of the scream-inducing thrill rides at the Daytona Beach Pier.

The resort is adjacent to the colorful Ocean Walker Shoppes, a complex filled with restaurants, a 10-screen movie theater and stores like Maui Nix Surf Shop. The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. offers fresh seafood and Cajun specialties and Adobe Gila's is home to the 64-ounce margarita, plus about a dozen more frozen concoctions. The Mai Tai bar serves up drinks in a true Hawaiian setting, with purple orchids as garnish, tiki torches and surfing videos on TV. The complex also includes Johnny Rockets, Wing House, Cold Stone Creamery, Planet Smoothie and Starbucks.

For those seeking more activities, Daytona Beach is also home to Daytona USA, multiple go-cart and mini-golf attractions and museums. A vacation here can be relaxing or as exciting as you want.

One thing for sure this sun-kissed vacation land feels very far removed from the hassles and routines of everyday life.

Great Condo for Family Vacation

We spent Thanksgiving week in this condo and it was perfect. We had 5 adults and two small children. This unit is very clean and updated. It has everything you need for a great vacation. Ocean Walk is a very good place to stay because of all the pools, activities, location, etc. The owner is very easy to deal with and we were certainly pleased with everything. We rent quite a bit through VRBO and this experience at Ocean Walk Condos and this unit turned out to be a one of the best.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Love this hotel, love this beach, love this room. Great family vacation location.

My family has stayed at the Wyndham several times over the years and we love the amenties for our kids. We have 3 kids ranging from 7 to 17 and there is something for all. We all love to swim so that might be an important distinction. The hotel gets a little crowded sometimes and the elevators are not adequate for an afternoon rain storm, but that is our only complaint. The room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer/dryer was nice to have. We needed a few extra items like towels and soap and everything was delivered promptly. Over the years we have stayed at some other hotels and our kids always ask to go back to the Wyndham. We love the large pools, the lazy river, the big slide, and the waves at the beach. It's also nice to note there is limited traffic at this portion of the beach. We have stayed where cars are allowed on the beach, not fun with small children. The attached restaurant area with a movie theater is also very convenient. Weekend concerts and fireworks are a nice plus too. Overall, it's a little crowded, but my family always wants to go back.
