Great Beach Location
My husband and I are expecting our first baby in August, so this was our one week 'babymoon' and last hooray. It was exactly what we needed, since we knew our trip wouldn't be extremely active, or include a lot of nightlife. The condo is tucked back in a private area of Sanibel and every single unit is facing the ocean. The salt water pool with plenty of lounge chairs was less than 50 feet from the condo, and the ocen was approx. 100 feet away. We could see the ocean from the unit and hear it with the windows open. Being April, we had iffy weather, but overall it was very sunny with cool nights. We were able to turn off the air conditioning and fall asleep the sound of the ocean and wind from the windows.
The condo itself could use a little bit of updating, but overall it was very comfortable, provided mostly everything we needed, and was a nice place to relax indoors if you needed a break from the sun or during inclement weather. There was a computer that was advertised for use for guests, but there was no username or password left to login. However, we tried to stay away from electronics on vacation anyway and got through several good books.
The condo is a mere 5 mins. from Jerry's the grocery store, and several great restaurants. The provided beach chairs/umbrella/bikes was also a plus! We would definitely come back again, as we noticed there is a pack and play, highchair, etc. there for children as well.
