We very much enjoyed Xmas in your home - because it felt like a home, not a rental. We'll be back! Thx
Our stay was very enjoyable despite marginal Eastee weather. The town home was beautifully furnished and well equipped. The location was excellent for getting on and off the mountain. And there were lots of fun entertainment in the condo
i just returned for a 5 night/6 day stay at this townhome during my children's spring break and i have to say it was one of the best places we've ever stayed in whistler. we travelled with another family and between the 4 adults had 4 children under 5 that came with us. to say this place have EVERYTHING we could ever want would be an understatement. everything from dvds, to netflix, to boardgames (for kids and adults), to books (again for both kids and adults) were provided along with every kitchen utensil, dish, plate, maps, etc. With small kids, we tend to stay at VRBOs alot and this one was by far the most convenient. They had a great time having "slumber parties" on the double bunk beds, and the hot tub was a great apres ski respite for the adults. The owners were very responsive, and the location was fabulous for ease down the mountain (a small path takes you to the run) which even during our stay where the slow was melting rapidly, allowed our kids to run around in the non-snowed in parts, and slide down in the slushy snow. The bus was convenient for easy access and we loved that it remained quiet since the kids went to bed early. It is a trek if you want to walk without going down the run so if you plan to party it up in Whistler, this might not be the place for you. But if you want all the modern conveniences of home, a great place to return after a day of skiing, hiking (lost lake is a very easy 3 miles loop from the townhome), or any other activity in Whistler, you won't go wrong with this townhome. We will DEFINITELY return!
We stayed at the Mountain Star townhouse in Whistler in mid-January 2013. It is in a great location on Blackcomb mountain with easy ski-in and ski-out access to the slopes. We had a large group of 10, but we were very comfortable during our stay. The townhouse was very clean with all the basic amenities we could need. In addition to the basics, it also has a great entertainment system in the living room and a private hot-tub on the back patio. The underground parking garage was very convenient, and we used the nearby bus-stop to get around the village during our stay. Most importantly, the townhouse owners could not have been more accomodating. We had several special requests for our stay and the owners were flexible and easy to work with on all fronts. I would strongly recommend this townhouse for anybody looking to visit Whistler, especially if you have a larger group. This was our first visit to Whistler, but we will certainly be back in the future and I hope we are able to stay at the Mountain Star property again. I only wish we could have stayed longer during our last trip!
My family of four stayed for three nights in July and found these accommodations to be spacious and very comfortable. We found the kitchen to be well-stocked and it was nice to be able to wash a load of clothes after bike riding, hiking, and the Monkido course at Wild Play Element Park (HIGHLY recommend this unusual and fun activity). We found the owners to be prompt and helpful in their communications with us.
As another reviewer notes, there are three levels to this condo, so be prepared for the stairs. We were also in Whistler on two days with temps in the upper 80s/low 90s, and the upper two floors became quite warm during the afternoons and early evenings, but cooled off after the sun went down.
Besides the Monkido course, we recommend biking on the many great trails around the valley as well as enjoying the organic pizza at Creekbread. Yum!
This was a very good location for our ski-in and ski-out vacation with the family. The owner was very tentative to our needs. We will put this on our list next year for a place to come back and stay.
