Are you looking for a quiet relaxing, vacation at the beach with panoramic (perfect) views of the Gulf? Then our condo in Sanibel Surfside complex is your dream vacation location on Sanibel! This 38 unit SMOKE-FREE complex provides all the amenities you need for a great vacation.

From the King-size bed in the master bedroom you can watch the sun rise and listen to waves. The views are breathtaking and the memories will last a lifetime. In the second bedroom has a full size bed, a twin bunk bed and a twin trundle. In the living room is a queen sofa sleeper which has and a direct ocean front view during the day.

This upscale unit has stainless steel appliances. Granite counters and in-unit washer/dryer which will make you wonder why you would ever want to stay anywhere else.

The internet can be accessed thru 4 ports for security or WIFI. Check your email and watch the family on the beach at the same time you are watching the sun and surf. All the amenities you desire; a golf course 1/2 miles away, Tennis courts, heated pool, great restaurants, shell collecting, Ding wildlife reserve and of course romantic walks on the beach.

Prepare your own meals in this well-equipped kitchen or eat at one of Sanibel’s great restaurant. We fell in love this island bought this condo and after your visit you will love it too.

You will have Access to the owner’s closet steps from the beach with chairs, umbrellas, and other beach amenities and even a set of golf clubs for you to use during your stay.

The rental periods are from Saturday to Saturday. We use an on island management team who greet you and be there 24/7 should you need assistance.

My husband Bill and I have 2 children and just recently became grand-parents for the fifth time. We reside in a suburb of Chicago called Rolling Meadows but travel back to Sanibel every chance we get. I am RN, have an MBA and currently in Sales and Bill also an MBA is consultant specializing in Finance. We are in Sanibel at least twice a year and look forward reading your comments.

We fell in love with Sanibel Island and purchased this beach front condo right after Hurricane Charley in 2004. We spent months putting this condo back together and have constantly upgraded since to ensure you enjoy the best beach views on the Island and have the vacation of lifetime in well maintained condo.

What makes this condo unique

The shelling is the best in Florida, watching the sunrise and sunsets, wildlife everywhere on an island that is 70% a nature preserve is what brings us back again and again. Then there are the bike rides and long romantic walks on one the best beaches in the world. The nightlife, restaurants and relaxing environment regenerate us. Talk to Caesar the parrot at entrance of Jerry’s grocery store. We cant do that in Chicago.

Nice view

Well-appointed , very clean 2 bedroom 2bath with a very nice lanai view--watched sunrise most mornings. Sanibel is quiet though, don't expect night life. Great bike path goes all the way to Captiva. We enjoyed walking on the beach and swimming in the pool.

That view is why we bought the condo, and we love sharing our condo with the perfect ocean front view. Sanibel is known for its great bike paths and we are thrilled you took advantage of them and walks on the beach. Night life on Sanibel is elusive and most evening we enjoy the tranquility of Sanibel but we have found a few places with live bands. We have also, found that in Ft Myers which just a short drive away there are night clubs and a more diverse night life.
We would welcome you be our guest again.

Enjoyed the place location is great and view is excellent. Also liked having the owners closet to put beach items in and not have to take into the condo. Master bed is a foam top bed that we didn't care for too much. A great unit, I would recommend to anyone!

Owner's Response: That view is the best we ever found in a condo and why we bought the condo. The interior was a joy to do and I am glad you enjoyed it. Allowing our guest to use our beach level closet is simply doing something for our guest that we found makes our day on the beach that much more enjoyable. The mattress is new and has a pillow top I am sorry it wasn’t what you expected.
We are thrilled you enjoyed your vacation and it was pleasure have you as a guest and we would love to have return again soon.

Great place with a view!!
Your just steps from the beach. The dinning on the island is the best! No need to go into Ft. Myers for meals or shopping. Sanibel has all you need.
This is the second time we have stayed at this condo and plan to stay again.

Great Week On the Beach

We enjoyed a great week in Sanibel. The condo was just as advertised. We could not have been closer to the beach. The view from the Lanai was great. I spent hours there reading , relaxing and soaking in the fresh ocean air. The master bedroom served us well and the king mattress was very comfortable. The kitchen was well furnished although we ate our big meals at the excellent selection of restaurants that Barb had recommended. Sanibel is a wonderful destination for nature lovers. The bike trails are just a convenient way to get around while providing exercise to burn off a few of the calories picked up in the restaurants. I hope to return to Sanibel and would be happy to stay in this unit again.

Thank you for your review!! I am glad you enjoyed my suggestion in restaurants, on vacation who counts calories. Yes, the bike trails help, I enjoy running down the beach to the 1/2 mile mark and crossing over the walkway to the Lighthouse café in the mornings or a swim in the pool. Bill and I take pride in the comfortable upscale condo we created for our guest. When we saw the view, we knew we found a piece of Paradise! Please let us know when you would like to return to our condo retreat with that relaxing direct ocean view.

Perfect view, ultimate relaxation!

This was our third visit to Sanibel but our 1st stay at a beachfront property. This condo has spoiled us for staying anywhere else on return visits. My husband's nickname is "on-the-go Joe" but during our trip I called him "on the balcony Joe" We loved that we were only steps from the beach; the convenience can't be overstated! You will occasionally hear people on the path that leads to the complex, but in May it isn't a big deal; it's quieter during the week vs. the weekend. We heard a few people on their balconies using cell phones, but only a few times. The check-in process at Royal Shell is a cinch--we were at the condo in a few minutes. If I could improve on anything, I'd love another comfortable lounge chair (rather than just the reg chairs (next to the table) on the balcony for relaxing. My husband rarely left "his" lounger. The only other thing we noticed is the volume on both radios didn't work. We didn't bring cds so we couldn't put on the radio. Everything else in the condo was great, and it's a comfortable place with plenty of upgrades like the flat screen tv, dvd players and granite counters. We left a jumbo pack of coffee filters, but I think the cleaning crew cleans out everything, although having the starter set of paper goods is very helpful. The crew who takes care of the Surfside grounds and complex is very friendly and you can see they work hard to keep everything top notch, which really impressed us. To add to your visit, be sure to stop by Bennett's, a fairly new coffee roaster / donut business that opened 4 mos. ago, around the corner on Periwinkle--it's a great place to indulge in a vacation inspired treat (key lime pie donut) and it quickly became a reg. stop for us. Thank you for your response!!! Yes we love the balcony view and lounging there. I especially love drinking my coffee in the morning watching the shrimp boats and I have seen dolphins 100 feet out many times!!! We had 2 loungers, and two chairs around the table on the balcony. We will look into that and need to replace the second one if Royal Shell does not have it being repaired? The volume on the radio's may be that someone placed them on mute???? Will have that checked, also. But overall glad you enjoyed your stay!!!! We take pride in our condo and want our guest to enjoy the condo, view and the all the unique Sanibel Island surroundings with Nature, Beach, Bike trails, restaurant, shops, etc….
Please let us know when you and On-the-go Joe would like to return to are get away in paradise!!!

Our New Favorite Vacation Spot!

My husband and I vacationed for the first time in Sanibel, and have fallen in love with this Island! This condo was exactly as pictured, exceptionally clean and was well furnished throughout, including the kitchen. We cooked several meals and found everything we needed. The storage closet was well stocked and made trips to both the beach and pool very easy. The only downside for the entire week was that the air conditioner was down for a full 24 hours, which made our sleep very difficult for one night. We did learn that the repairman had been called, and the rental company was told it was fixed the previous afternoon, when it was not. Once we made them aware again early the next morning, it was working by noon. Overall a fantastic vacation - we will be back!
