Hotel suite, one King Bed, one bath w/pull out love seat single bed. Sleeps 3

On the 7th floor of the Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Ft Lauderdale, the large bay window affords a beautiful direct view of the Atlantic incl north and south views of the beach below. Balcony off of the bedroom has chairs and overlooks the pool and lazy river below as well as the Atlantic. Cable Television with available in-room movies, games and music. The Pelican Grand is right on the sandy beach, you do not cross A1A to access the beach as you do with most nearby hotels. After a swim in the zero entry pool alongside a lazy river enjoy some cool treats at the ice cream parlor just off the hotel lobby. Perfect for families and couples alike. Restaurant and bar have outdoor seating available on the oceanside veranda. Enjoy the cocktail lounge overlooking the pool or have a meal on the veranda overlooking the beach, and later relax in one of the many rocking chairs. Lounge chairs and towels are available for the beach. The Pelican Grand is a beautiful, romantic and very relaxing place.

More to do: : In addition to the amenities listed at the top of this page, there is a guest laundry on the 5th floor and a business computer center located near the ice cream shop just off the lobby.

Nearby are sidewalk cafes and beautiful shops on Las Olas Blvd (http://www.lasolasboulevard.com). One can enjoy a number of outdoor activities such as Golf, Jet Skis, Snorkeling&scuba diving, Parasailing and Pier Fishing as well as Deep Sea Fishing in Ft Lauderdale.

Parking: The parking is valet only, the cars are parked by automobile lift under the hotel and the cars are not accessible while under the hotel. The nightly rate is $28 with in and out privileges. Parking is available on the street, but is metered during the day, and very limited so I don't recommend parking on the street. Many guests do not bring a car, preferring to stay at the hotel, using cabs for occasional outings from the hotel.

Pelican Grand, perfect name for a perfect place to stay at while in Fort Lauderdale. This room has one of the best views in Fort Lauderdale, it over looks Pelican's great lazy river pool and the fantastic beach. The room gets great light, was very clean, was well maintained and had everything I needed for a comfortable one week stay. The owner was very friendly and helped me with any questions I had. The resort serves great breakfast and make some mean chocolate chip pancakes. I would highly recommend this property to family and friends.

Large, bright corner unit with 3 windows facing the beach, and a balcony on the side overlooking the pool. Very clean and quiet, with a comfortable king-size bed. The fridge and microwave allowed us to keep drinks, fruit, and other items for breakfast. There were no other stores or restaurants close, but a 15 minute walk north or south, had either stores or eateries. The hotel itself is first class, and very well maintained. We had food delivered a couple of times to the beach, which was very handy. I would definitly recommend this unit.

What a wonderful vacation

I would first like to let you know how extremely accomodating the owner of this rental has been. The owner of the unit is great! Secondly, the unit is an absolute dream. It is everything it is advertised to be and much more. The view is breathtaking, the room is immaculate and the service is top notch. I promise that if you rent this unit you be booking your next stay before you leave.
