Right on a heavenly stretch of white sand beach with your front yard a 180-degree expanse of sparkling turquoise sea, this fabulous contemporary villa with a large swimming pool and hot tub is a unique vacation delight. Full Circle is built as three totally private air-conditioned pavilions, offering three king bedroom/bath suites, a spacious Great Room with ample kitchen and powder room, and the heart of this house, an open-air thatched pavilion directly on the beach for alfresco dining, cocktails and seaside conversation.
Full Circle's fully air-conditioned main pavilion offers a high-ceilinged sitting area with contemporary cushioned seating and a 52-inch flat screen satellite TV, a sleek look in pleasing counterpoint to rustic wood tables and cabinets, all punctuated by modern, primitive and folk art pieces. Adjoining is a dining area set with a polished wood dining table which seats 12 on leather and chrome chairs, and a very roomy kitchen done in rich woods with lots of appliances and space for everyone to join in the creation of a special meal, if desired. A convenient tiled powder room is right off the kitchen. The dining area looks out to Full Circle's gardens and to fascinating old stone and brick ruins from plantation days gone by.
Screened glass sliding doors open on three sides of this pavilion, bringing the glorious outside in; those on the ocean and pool sides access an expansive flagstone terrace set with cushioned chaise lounges, the beachfront thatched pavilion offering comfortable seating, table and chairs, and Full Circle's dramatic freshwater swimming pool and hot tub. The large pool is topped with an architecturally-fascinating cantilevered half roof firmly anchored by native stone pillars; the pool may be entered via stairs or via its gradually-sloping floor leading into the water.
The master suite pavilion is adjacent to the pool and sun deck, well screened by landscaping. This air-conditioned king suite boasts an ensuite bathroom with both an indoor tiled shower and, if you prefer, an alfresco shower. There is a small air-conditioned exercise room.
On the other side of the main pavilion is the air-conditioned guest pavilion with two bedroom/bath Suites each offering handcarved king beds; a small kitchenette separates these Suites. The larger Beachfront Suite is furnished with table and chairs. The Garden Suite offers an alfresco shower. Both Suites have sliding glass doors which open to a flat lawn outside set with chaise lounges, and both Suites are just steps to the ocean's edge.
Warm, aromatic cedar faces the three pavilions' high-vaulted ceilings and trims their walls. Full Circle's windows and sliders are all outfitted with easy pull-down shades. Fresh sea breezes cool this private enclave day and night, and stone pathways meander through Full Circle's gardens beneath whispering palms and tall shade trees. At night, artful exterior lighting illuminates the way. Stroll along Nail Bay's strand of white sand, beachcomb, snorkel live reefs, and stargaze by night. This private and enchanting property features unique architecture, setting it apart from other Caribbean villas, earning this casual yet sophisticated beach home four stars. Barefoot or dressed for dinner, discerning beach lovers will be seduced by Full Circle's seaside charisma.
Natural beauty is in abundance on the third largest of the British Virgin Islands. Explore the indigenous plant-lined trails, nature sanctuaries and natural wonders of the protected national parks. By mid-morning in Virgin Gorda, many have settled down on one of the many deserted beaches that fringe the island. The pace of life is slow on Virgin Gorda, but if you don't want to spend the day on a beach, there are plenty of other activities. You could explore The Baths- huge boulders provide a myriad of rock pools, secret beaches, and trails. Or spend the morning at a hillside restaurant cooled by gentle breezes while you watch the ferries cross the North Sound far below. Dramatic slopes plunge from Gorda Peak to the turquoise waters below.
