Having spent many years in the Chatham and Orleans area, we fell in love with this secluded location in South Orleans overlooking Pleasant Bay. We love being able to zip into Chatham and Orleans for a meal with friends and then escape the summer crowds back to our Pleasant Bay retreat. South Orleans is certainly not a typical tourist destination, which is why we love it so much. Being avid boaters, the easy access to Quanset Landing allows us easy access to Pleasant Bay for kayaking or a trip out to North Beach. Quanset Landing is seldom busy even in the peak months, never a line of motor boats on trailers here.
