Auditorium Park is a quiet, tree lined open space maintained by the village. The cottage, so close to the shore that every room has a water view is wonderful and is well maintained.
The main level living areas of Orrington Cottage have been updated in recent years and enjoy comfortable furnishings. The second floor bedrooms still retain much of their original charm with open timber construction. All new bedding and newer mattresses make for a fresh stay at the cottage.
The cottage also offers a covered front porch overlooking Auditorium Park and the ocean great for taking in the views of Penobscot Bay and an open rear deck perfect for grilling (gas) and complete with picnic table.
