Owner / Property Manager purchased this house in 1926
This cottage was perfect for our needs. We were in Augusta to help our daughter prepare for overseas deployment and wanted a place that would let us give her some TLC. As a lover of all things vintage, I loved the mid century decor and feel of the home. The kitchen is basic, but the owner was kind enough to make sure I had the equipment I needed to do some cooking. We didn't do sightseeing, but I know it was close to downtown, and very convenient to shopping. Helen, the owner, was very thoughtful, which added to the warmth of the experience. We have rented larger, more modern vacation homes. But for our purposes this time, this was perfect. Our experience here was as good as at any of the homes in which we have vacationed.
