This is an incredible location overlooking the entrance to Pictou Harbor & the Northumberland Straits. Its private & quite with only the sound of surf & breeze. The house is well equiped, very tidy & comfortable. Sun rise & big sky viewing are spectacular. The Owners are exceptionally hospitable and a pleasure.
Fabulous cottage. Wish we had rented it for longer. The owners Bill and Ann are wonderful to deal with; so welcoming and they live close by if there was a problem. We didn't have any but they came down to meet us when we moved in and gave us lots of hints on the area. The cottage was spotless, very well equipped ; has all the amenities of home in a very quiet and beautiful setting. It's right on the beach; has nice deck, BBQ, high speed internet, satellite and many other extras. Fabulous view and close to many attractions like PEI ferry, Cape Breton and Halifax. We flew into Halifax and rented a car. Pictou is a very nice friendly little town. I would highly recommend this property and we will certainly rent it again.
The cottage was perfect! it was spotless and very comfortable. The owners were welcoming and attended to our every need. I would highly recommend this property - central location, easily accessible, and very well equipped.
The Anne and Bill were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The cottage is very comfortable, clean, well equipped and we felt at home straight away. The beach on our doorstep was great for rock-pooling, our 4 year old loved it. There are other lovely beaches very nearby too. Pictou is a lovely little town, very family friendly. Thank you very much, we hope to come back.
