This building was constructed in the mid-1990's to provide additional guest rooms at the Salt Ash Inn. The Carriage House features 4 Bedrooms with private full bathrooms. The property is located in the heart of the lower valley directly between Killington and Okemo mountains, and just across the road from the VAST (snow mobile) trails. We are located at the intersection of Route 100 and route 100a both of which are state plowed roads. Even in the deepest of snow one can easily make their way to us in a sedan.

Local activities: In the Winter we are conveniently located to any winter sport one could imagine including Skiing (alpine & cross-country), Snowboarding, Snowmobiling, Snowshoeing, ice skating, ice fishing and so much more. /if its got the words snow or ice in it you can most likely find it here!

In the summer there are gorgeous lakes, bike trails, hiking trails, and phenomenal golf courses. The cool mountain air provides a great escape from hot city climates. Come relax by the pool, explore the local breweries or vineyards. The Long trail brewery is less then 10 miles from our location!

The fall provides some of the best foliage view in the country, its a wonderful time to come visit and drive around for the day.

There are also wonderful year round activities the town of woodstock is a short 15 minute ride away. There are local antique shops, and tax free shopping in New Hampshire (30 minute drive)

Golf: We are located 10 miles from the aware winning golf courses at both Okemo, Killington and Woodstock.

Ski: We are located less then 10 miles from 2 of the larges ski resorts on the east coast. Weather you are looking for the big bumps and steep drops at Killington, or the family friendly atmosphere at Okemo or Pico we are just a short drive to all three mountains. If one were looking for more options on an extended stay Ascutney, Stratton, Bromely, Magic, and Suicide Six are all less then an hours drive.

Week long vacation in the Carriage House

My husband and I have been coming to the Salt Ash Inn for a few years, but this year we got to experience the Carriage House.

Al really cares about the comfort of his guests, and really puts sweet touches in the house to make you feel at home. He is also super helpful in enjoying your stay in the area, by helping you find the best deals for rentals, lift tickets, and restaurants.

The Carriage House itself is a really large space where a family of 5 or a bunch of friends can enjoy a great time together. Each room has a cozy fireplace, TV, queen sized beds and private bathrooms. The kitchen was super awesome to have as after a long day, all you want is to make some food and relax by the main fire in the living room and watch a movie.

I would highly recommend staying at the Inn!

4 huge bathroom, every room has a fireplace. perfect location and very friendly staff. The inn is right next door. It's more like a hotel than a vacation house.

4 bathroom and they are huge. The bedroom are all very clean and it's more like hotel than normal vacation house. Perfect location for Okemo and Killington

The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful. I will definitely suggest this house for your stay.
