Owner / Property Manager purchased this house in 1970
My husband and I rented this place to see my son who is at college. Although it was too cold to use the pool in October, we were able to getaway and have a fun time. It was so nice to relax, stay-in the house and cook meals, and enjoy the peace and quiet away from the busy city. We especially enjoyed the sauna, and the canoe rides with the fall foliage around the lake, the swans, and ducks. It was just simply breathtaking. We were also able to get my son's college laundry done with the washer/dryer that is available at the house. This was simply an affordable and great place to stay. Thanks to the owner for being so hospitable too; we will definitely be back.
My family had a great time in this well-managed place. Pool and sauna are a huge plus.
Keep in mind if you have TMobile, you might not get cell service (though the nature of the vacation made that a non-issue for us).
We truly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. The owner was always available and very gracious. The setting was gorgeous!
We had a great time at the lake house. Clean and the lake was amazing. We fished the entire time and caught a ton of fish. Katie is a super caring and very helpful land lord.
We were happy with the place until we found out that the community that this property is located in does not allow visitors without a resident escort to use the lake or shorefront for any purpose. We were told several times that there are ongoing disputes between the property owner and the rest of the community. The grills have rusted and cannot be used so we got a cheap one. The place needs some minor repair and paint. The summer blanket is too small for the King size bed. There is no land phone, cell phone coverage, internet, and the TV has a small antennae that gets six stations (two Spanish, one religious, one commercial all the time, and Al Jazeera. There is basically no radio signal. The dish washer starts to fall forward when you open it to put in dishes. Watch out for the water flowing out of the base of the faucet when you turn on the water in the kitchen sink. Be careful not to drive through or park in the community parking lot at the front of the property. According to the neighbors if you don't have a resident permit and do so you can get fined. The place did have a freezer on the bottom refrigerator. The swimming pool is the standard above ground five foot type.
I wanted to tell you how impressed I was with both the rental agency and the home owner we rented from.
From the first inquiry we made about a rental, to the last minute phone message you sent before we left, every exchange was totally professional.
The information about the rental, about the payment, and about the arrangements once at the home, all was as it was explained beforehand.
We have rented homes before but this was the first time the owner met us at our arrival. This made us feel even better and more secure about our rental with you. Plus, ( the owner) was affable and a great host. We would definitely rent from this specific owner anytime!
We will definitely call on you again.
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
