Located off the beaten path in Tahoe, this home is nestled in the woods for privacy, yet still close to all the amenities you come to enjoy in South Lake Tahoe. That is hard to replicate in the majority of Tahoe properties. It's 4 miles to the lake and a mile within 2 golf courses. Best of all you are surrounded by 3 ski resorts, the closest being the largest and most spectacular, Heavenly. This home is the perfect getaway for multiple families traveling together. You'll find a king bed in the first bedroom and a queen in the remaining 2 bedrooms (perfect for the adults). For the kids there is additional sleeping on the sofa sleeper in the living room and an entire loft area with yet another sofa for sleeping. The kids can make their own space away from the adults in the large loft.

You will have everything you need to feel at home during your stay including linens and towels. Enjoy cooking your favorite home-cooked meals in the fully-equipped kitchen. Just bring the food! After dinner, spend some time relaxing in the private hot tub with friends and family. You'll have plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy year round, including skiing (at Heavenly, Kirkwood, Sierra at Tahoe, Homewood, Squaw Valley, and Northstar), golfing at one of the 3 golf courses (2 within a mile), fishing, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, swimming, hiking the desolation wilderness (within 2 miles), mountain biking and much more!

We have rented this place several times and each time have been pleased. The owner did a fantastic job in the remodel and you can tell tons of time and monies were invested. Our family looks forward each year to winter so we can stay there again...the kids love the upstairs playarea and the "little slope" in the backyard where they can slide in the snow. We will be renting again this year and know it will be another memorable experience.

Great place to stay in Tahoe

We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved it. The house was in great condition, clean and it had everything we needed and more. We received the entrance codes at the time that we were promised and had no problem getting in. The manager answered all our questions on time, he was very nice and provided all the information we needed.

We took our dog since this is a pet-friendly house and he loved it. We took him to Eagle Falls and Fallen Leaf Lake since they allow dogs in these areas and we had a great time.

The area where the house is is very calm, no noise neighbors, you can walk your dog with no problem. There are trees everywhere so the view is great no matter where you look. It is close from South Lake Tahoe and Emerald Bay. It is also very close to the Liras supermarket and a gas station which is very convenient.

We can't wait to come back!

Great Stay at Cabin- Feels Brand New- CLEAN and Comfy

We stayed at the Plumas cabin hoping to get some snowboarding in, but nature didn't cooperate. Instead, we scrapped those plans and hung out at the cabin by day and casinos/hot tub by night. The cabin feels brand new and is VERY clean. One of the cleanest and most updated rentals we've had. Three good sized bedrooms and a spacious family room in addition to the open kitchen/living room. Six adults and three kids the first night then two more adults for the second and third nights. No Problem.

Nice deck, which we could enjoy because it was (too) sunny. Easy in and out from Hwy 50, near Lira's market. Will definitely come back- maybe during summer to check out some golf and hiking.

Awesome cabin! Great location!

My girlfriend and a couple other friends rented this cabin for a week, it ended up being one of the most epic weeks of riding and fun ever. First off the cabin has been tastefully remodeled with wood and granite everywhere, it's freaken beautiful! We felt totally at home as soon as we walked in the door, clean, comfortable, and surprisingly very very roomy (the loft is huge!). Hot tub was a huge plus after a long day of shredding.

Location! Location! Location! It's in the perfect spot, within 10 min of Heavenly and all the casinos/bars and there is a great grocery store down the road that has everything you need plus they have a great marinated tri-tip ready for the grill!! I can't tell you how perfect everything was (the 5ft of fresh pow was a bonus), definitely will be back for the summer.

GREAT getaway for snowboarders and summer time lake lovers!

My friends and I LOVE LOVE this place!! So cozy, cute and very spacious. I love the warm woodsy feeling of the cabin's interior. The location description is accurate, very close to the Heavenly Mountain Resort and all the Lake Tahoe casinos and hotels and restaurant, also nearby a local grocery store. This place is perfect for those who love the snow activities and summer time lake activities. Everything is practically 5-10 mins away. It's also great for those who just want to get a way and relax and enjoy the outdoors. There's a beautiful porch that the sun shines down on during the summer. Great for reading a good book, BBQ, and getting a sun tan. The photos on the listing are good but they don't do it justice until you actually see the place. It's BEAUTIFUL!!! Very well maintained and clean. From my understanding, the owner spent some years renovating it himself. It makes you really appreciate the cabin much more. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to friends and family. I'm already planning to schedule a bunch of stays during the summer and even more during the winter.
