House, 1 Bedroom plus guest unit, + Convertible bed(s), 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 4-8)

Include use of the guest room. Free us of snorkel gear,,paddle board, fishing gear. Ask about fishing trips and kiteboard lessons. Rent an SUV for $35 day or $225 week. The place is too cool, and basically on the beach as it's on the main beach access just a 20 meter skip to the beach. Includes Flatscreens in LR and BR, wifi, & vonage phone. The beach is the nicest swimming beach in the area. I just saw four blue whales infront of the house this morning, and caught 7 yellow tale yesterday. It's the value in the area by far. Take advantage of the pool, swim up bar, and restaurant and Spa services at the Buena Vista Hotel just four houses down the beach. You will be welcome there. Quads are allowed on our beach which I can provide a 15% discount from the local rental shop. Jet skis, kayaks, and charter boats are available at the Hotel.

Like an oasis in the middle of a desert

Spent 6 nights here and loved everything about the place, from the cozy bedroom, separate office space, private bathroom, ceiling fans, air conditioning, patio, and of course the ocean views. There's also a mini fridge, coffee maker, plenty of towels, and solid wi-fi connection. Excellent base to explore Cabo Pulmo, La Paz, and partake in fishing or wind surfing. We took long walks on the beach and felt perfectly safe. Jeff is friendly, accommodating, and have interesting background. You won't be disappointed....unless of course you are a tourist looking for glitz.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Unbelievable Kite Boarding Beach

We had a magnificent vacation as Jeff let us use his snorkel gear and paddle board. There are some incredible snorkeling locations just down the beach. The use of the Spa hotel was nice as there pool and huge jacuzzi are protected from the wind. We love to kiteboard and the best beach in the area is directly in front of the house. If you are an intermediate or advanced kiter as the waves are really nice here. The room does not have a TV but we liked the quiet time and Jeff opened up the Kitchen upstairs for lunch and to watch football. We rented the Durango which worked out great for us. We hope to come back again soon.

Great location, nice owner

The location was terrific--just one lot from the beach. The room is pretty basic, but we weren't there to stay in the room much! There was of course a bathroom as well, and we were invited to use the kitchen and living room in the main part of the house if we wanted or needed to. We really appreciated being able to rent a vehicle from him, and use things like his paddleboard and fishing lures! We went fishing with a local guy, and the fish we caught were using these lures! It was good to be able to use the pool at the nearby hotel as well; it was a really nice pool. The water in the ocean - in September anyway- was SO WARM! We loved Los Barriles...very safe and quiet (at least when we were there). You have to eat breakfast at Roadrunner's, and dinner at Campestre Triny's ...to name a couple of good ones. We hope to visit again sometime - maybe in the winter when we can learn to kiteboard or windsurf. In September, the ocean was as smooth as glass in the morning..very little wind until about mid-afternoon, and very hot! I understand why that is a 'slow' time of year, but we loved it. Also, the owner was very knowledgeable about the area and directed us to some awesome places for snorkeling and sightseeing.
