There is a variety of things to do including great restaurants and kid-friendly activities. This is a great close-to-home vacation spot.

You will sleep comfortably on the king-size Sleep Number bed in the master bedroom downstairs. The downstairs bath features an over-sized shower while the upstairs bath has a tub/shower combination. Upstairs in the newly renovated loft, you'll find a nice queen-size bed in the oversized guest suite as well as 2 brand new twin beds (Beautyrest mattresses) for additional sleeping of adults or children in the sitting area outside of the guest suite.
The indoor dining table seats ten comfortably and the full-sized kitchen will make you feel right at home. Entertain outdoors as you enjoy spectacular views from the huge patio equipped with rocking chairs and an outdoor dining table. The home is perfect for family get-togethers, scrap-booking weekends and holidays. The home can comfortably seat over 35 people indoors and out, with eating facilities for over 20 at a time.
If you love to drive (or live to ride), Glen Rose is an amazing area to enjoy. Do a web search for car/motorcycle/bicycle tour suggestions in and around Glen Rose and you'll find many breakfast runs, afternoon rides and breath-taking evening tours that are Hill Country spectacular! As a side note to this, the home is located directly on the infamous "Paluxy Pedal" cycle circuit in October. If you are a participant, book early!
