Winter Getaway

Had a great time with family and friends. The house was perfect for our group to socialize and get together. The basement was a perfect spot for the kids to play video games and play pool. The backyard was gorgeous with the snow falling all weekend. We are looking for reasons to go back in the summer. I have already told some co-workers about this place, just far enough away with all the conviences of home. Thanks

Comfy home away from home.

My friend picked this out of the way rental home so the 9 of us can relax and get away from the Chicago city life for a weekend. There was tons of space for all of us to be comfortable and not in each others hair.

The listing was very accurate. The kitchen was fully stocked with silverware and such; the hot tub was delightful; the pool table/ice hockey table was fun; there was a tv in every room so that we could have music or movies all the time; the outside patio was great for cooking and relaxing and a bonfire was a great way to end the night! The property was very clean, the owner was very helpful with rules and codes for the wifi and security along with how to work the different things like the hot tub.

I like that it was dog friendly because we brought a small dog. She got to run around in the massive yard.

Around the area not too far, there are a lot of activities. Since we went in October, we found a Haunted Maze that was really great. There are a ton of vineyards and the drive to get to them if filled with a fantastic country view. On one of the days, we found the bike path around South Haven and had a fantastic jog! All of the people we ran into were also very friendly.

All in all, I would definitely recommend this place again as well as stay here again!

Wonderful Escape!

My fiance, dog and I escaped to this wonderful home for 3 nights. The house is beautiful, the backyard peaceful, the hot tub relaxing, and the squirrels were a nice treat for our four legged family member... We definitely want to come back.

It is an outstanding location for multiple couples/ families/children/dogs, etc. It's a huge house with a ton of things to do. Air hockey, fuze ball, hot tub, walks, enjoying the fireplace, the view, the stars, the porch, grilling... it's a perfect retreat!

Our dog enjoyed sitting on the couch while resting her head on the window ledge to enjoy a perfect view of the birds and squirrels. Between the stream in the back, the pond, the birds and the squirrels, she couldn't have been happier.

Private, quiet relaxing getaway!

The home was just beautiful. Very clean, nicely decorated. The yard was very peaceful, no bugs. It was nice to have Internet Access. We went to Saugatuck to visit the shops and enjoyed there food. The next day we took a paddleboat ride down the harbor and into Lake Michigan to view the homes, sailboats, and the yachts in Saugatuck. We also went to visit the town of Holland and toured the Windmill they had there from the 1800's. While we where there we visited there shops also and sampled some of there food. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a private, quiet place to stay!

My family and I rented this wonderful home the week of the 4th of July. Everything is exactly as advertised. Plenty of stretching out room for (3) adults and (8) kids, and oh yeah, a little rat terrier named Jersey. One of the most enjoyable surprises that we had was watching all of the wonderful birds around the house. I spent hours just staring out the windows and sitting on the screen porch waiting to see what would fly by next. So relaxing...

We made most of our meals in the well appointed kitchen, and even made a few meals on the huge grill on the screened in porch. What a treat to have a well functioning gas grill. I have charcoal at home and burn most everything. Needless to say, my family was estatic to see the gas grill!

We also loved the huge washer and dryer! Jeff spared no expense on the appliance front!

We loved going to South Beach, Saugatuck and Oval Beach. The weather was warm and the water was wonderful!!! The fireworks on North Beach were excellent! The drive into town takes aboout 15 - 20 minutes and had everything we needed and/or forgot.

Jeff was very easy to work with and I was happy to see my security deposit in the mail upon our return to TX. Thanks for helping us have a really enjoyable, relaxing vacation!
