Cute house/pool, Great host, A few surprises

We had a 4-night stay in late March - enjoyed our stay & the host was great. We felt like the interior description & pictures were spot-on, but the exterior & location were not what we expected (from the pictures & description). PROS: 1) Host was very responsive, gracious, & easy to work with. 2) Pool was the perfect size/heated. 3) Cost of home was very reasonable. 4) A lot of little extras (everything well stocked, 3 TV's, allowed us to check in early, plenty of pool towels, etc.). CONS: 1) Neighborhood was a little sketchy (although we felt safe in the home itself which was thoroughly walled/gated). 2) It was private since walled/gated, but definitely not peaceful - right on a busy road with loud trucks/cars with loud mufflers all day/night. Must be prone to racing since there were speed bumps, but cars still drove fast. 3) The front, back, & side yards were due for some upkeep (a lot of tall, overgrown weeds) and also a dump run (corner with broken fire pit, old pool stuff, boards stacked/covered in blue tarps, etc). All in all, we really liked the house/pool - easy enough to have a little yard upkeep & dump run! I would suggest that you mention that it is next to a busy road that can have car noise though. After reading "peaceful villa" as a descriptor, I think that was the most surprising thing. Thanks!

Clean, cute place convenient to downtown

We enjoyed our 10 day stay- place was comfortable and convenient to downtown and many hiking trails on west side of Tucson. Our only concern was the immediate neighborhood - it was not conducive to walks as many homes in the neighborhood have unfriendly dogs that bark as you walk by. But we felt very safe and private in the house and lovely pool and patio area.

Lovely property with pool

This house is the perfect size for a family of 4. It was clean and the pool was terrific. The host made sure the pool was heated for us. They were very prompt to respond. The property sits on the corner of a vacant lot which was a little concerning at first but it was safe and quiet and we were able to hear some wildlife at night. Overall it was a terrific stay. Thank you!

Wonderful Memories Made!

We hosted a family gathering for our son's graduation and everyone loved the home, the layout, and the location. The pool is just the right size, the view is great, and the house is perfect for entertaining. We definitely recommend this property!
