Flemish House of Chicago features eight serviced apartments in an 1890s greystone row house in downtown Chicago, steps from Michigan Avenue shopping, Oak Street Beach and our magnificent lakefront parks.

The HomeAway featured unit is a comfortable one-bedroom suite with a queen bed in the bedroom and we can add a twin daybed in the living room for third person occupancy. For your convenience there is a stocked kitchen. Our renovation has kept the best of the old while updating the kitchen and bath.

In addition to the featured unit shown here, we have four studio/1BA apartments (sleep 2 each), two additional 1-BR/ 1BA apartments (sleep 3 each) and one 2-BR/1BA apartment (sleeps 5).

Mike Maczka, with co-owner Tom Warnke, wanted to offer a European aparthotel-style guesthouse in downtown Chicago, when this fantastically located multi-family rowhouse came available.

AMAZING Stay and Wonderful Time at Flemish House of Chicago!

My husband and I arrived Saturday November 6th to Flemish House of Chicago.
What a beautiful Brownstone building and an amazing location! We were greeted by Mike who owns
Flemish House and he could not have been more accommodating. He gave us a tour of 2F which was just the right amount of space. It had a small living area, kitchen, and a very intimate bedroom area.
Our stay at Flemish House was complete with a visit from Sam who also had a great personality and was such a cute cat (we missed our Countess so Mike offered us a meeting with Sam). In one word the place was FANTASTIC. First, it's situated on a lovely street in Chicago, within a very short walk of countless restaraunts and other entertainment establishments. The house was spotless and had every amenity we could have asked for. We will definately stay at Flemish House on our next trip to Chicago and have no hesitation in recommending Mike to anyone who plans to be in town for a day, a weekend, a week or whatever.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
