3 Bedrooms + Den, 3 Baths, Ocean-Front Terrace (Sleeps 6-8)

This spectacular ocean-front residence takes your breath away the instant you walk through the front door. The dining and living areas have stunning views of the beach and ocean which is often dotted with colorful kite and wind-surf sails. A spacious terrace separates two ocean-front bedrooms and a full laundry room separates the two bedrooms on the west side. There is a spacious full service kitchen and a den which can double as a media room or a 4th bedroom. Separating the 2nd floor terrace and the beach is an extremely large infinity pool that can be great for swimming laps or watching all the water sports in Cabarete Bay. Just a short walk down the beach are dozens of international restaurants - all nestled in a palm tree setting. This is a great gathering place for family and friends and a vacation spot that can provide great memories for years to come.

Airport: The best airport to use is Puerto Plata (POP). Cabarete is about 20 minutes east of the airport. POP is about 1-1/2 hours south of Miami and about 3 hours south of New York. The alternate airport is Santiago (STI) which is about 1-1/2 hours by car to Cabarete. As a last resort, you can fly into Santo Domingo (SDQ) but that is about a 3 hour drive to Cabarete.

Transportation: The drive from Puerto Plata airport is about 20 minutes by car or taxi. There are numerous rent-a-car companies located just outside customs. The taxi fare is typically $35 USD, but that is negotiable. On a good day you might get someone down to $25, but you might budget for the full $35.

Water Sports: The kite-boarding and wind-surfing in Cabarete is world-class. Rentals and lessons are plentiful. There is good snorkeling and diving in Sosua.

Harmony Condominiums are frequently referred to as the most exclusive address in Cabarete. It is ocean-front right in the center of Cabarete bay and has a spectacular view of kite-boarding to the left and windsurfing to the right. Just a few minute walk to the east puts you right in the center of all the beachfront restaurants.

Golf: There is great golfing at both Playa Dorada and Playa Grande. Our favorite is Playa Grande, which is about 45 minutes away but it is worth the drive because many of the holes are situated on the ocean with spectacular views.

Notes: This luxury apartment is designed as a friend and family gathering place. The full-service kitchen can be used by a private chef or guests who are into that 'cooking thing'. The dining table seats 8, with an additional 8 spread out between the breakfast bar by the kitchen and the ocean-front terrace off the living room. The bedrooms are completely separated for privacy. The second floor terrace is great for security and privacy and has tremendous views. This is an elevator building, but the walk up the stairs is quick and energizing. Outside is a spectacular ocean-front infinity swimming pool. The alternative is to take the private steps down to the beach for lounging or beach-combing. Just a short walk down the secure beach is a palm tree lined string of international restaurants. This condominium project is often referred to as the most prestigious address in all of Cabarete.
