Fantastic stay in Santa Fe

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I truly enjoyed staying at Casa Pequena for 4 days. It was absolutely perfect for the 2 of us. The photos and description are right on, and the place was immaculate. Amber was very responsive and even phoned the night prior to our arrival to check in and see if we had any questions. Very thoughtful! The location can't be beat, you can walk to just about everything. It was a bit chilly when we were there so we took full advantage of the kiva fireplace. Loved it! We highly recommend this property--it far exceeded our expectations.

Comfortable and cozy place to stay in Santa Fe!

  • 5 of 5
We stayed at Casa Pequena for four nights. Amber gave us a warm welcome and was available to help in any way. We had a late flight home and she was extremely accommodating about a late check out. The casita was well equipped and within walking distance of the plaza and many other points in Santa Fe. Activities we would recommend are a visit to Taos Pueblo and a hike on the Aspen Vista Trail. We recommend breakfast at Pasquals Cafe, sandwich and pastry at Sage Bakehouse and we had some great SW food at the Blue Corn Tortilla Cafe and the Shed. We will definitely recommend this wonderful casita to friends and family. Thanks, Amber!
PS I would appreciate not having the requirement to buy damage insurance. We strive to take care of homes as if they were our own.

Charming Casita / Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5
I booked Casa Pequena for my parents, who are seniors, and it was perfect. Located on a quiet street with friendly neighbors in the heart of town, it's a short walk from every point of interest in Santa Fe. My parents were able to easily walk to The Plaza, Canyon Road, The Railyard, Whole Foods, and every other attraction on their wishlist. Casa Pequena is equidistant from everything and, due to its location right off of Galisteo, it's easy to find your way back after a day of exploring.

Both the interior and exterior provide the classic Santa Fe style and charm to round out the experience. From the exposed vigas to the kiva fireplace and outdoor patio surrounded by coyote fencing, Casa Pequena allowed them to immerse themselves in the full Santa Fe lifestyle. It was immaculate and well-appointed. It even has a washer/dryer. My parents loved it.

Amber, the owner, was amazing. From the moment I booked the casita, she was available to answer questions and provide information. During my parents stay, she was available 24/7. She even helped me connect with my parents on a Sunday morning when their cell phone died. I can't say enough. They're already planning their next visit to their "2nd Home" in Santa Fe.

needs some attention

  • 3 of 5
Let me start with the positives: the casita is on a quiet residential street that is indeed 15 minutes from the center of the city but it will not be a great walk, over broken and overgrown sidewalks without anyone else on them crossing a couple pedestrian not friendly intersections. The front room was charming, light and had really comfortable seating. The bath had a good shower and poor lighting. The real problem was in the bedroom. Its small and though the bed was described as a queen she must have reign over a very small kingdom. The linen was old and the bedspread was brown and cheap. The room is very dark. Small things could really make a difference. The wifi only would connect on 3 of our 5 devices and the remote for the tv was one of these impossibly complicated ones with about 30 buttons and sticky notes all over it to help you navigate it.
The place really needs freshening and just a little more attention. Its just a little slip shod and dated.

Adorable & Convenient Casita

Adorable & Convenient Casita

My husband and I spent several days at Casa Pequena and were very pleased with the accomodations. While it is petite in size, it offers everything needed in a warm & comfy environment. Shops, restaurants and galleries are all within walking distance. We definitely will stay here on our next visit to Santa Fe.
