A Beautiful New Mexico play to stay

  • 5 of 5

I have previously lived in Albuquerque for many years, and was back to visit family. My son and I stayed at this property, and we had guests over most days. The place is perfect 1) as a base for exploring Albuquerque and the surrounding areas, 2) for having friends and family over to visit, and 3) Just enjoying the nice feel of a comfortable house. The backyard patio is ideal for enjoying the beautiful weather and for visiting with guests. The house is well stocked with everything you might need, including cooking items and even coffee!

I opted not to rent a car on this trip, and found it quite easy to walk to restaurants, retail stores, coffee shops and a great natural grocery store nearby. We were here in April and were able to host an Easter dinner party with our extended family and everyone enjoyed themselves.

The owner was very easy to work with and gave us clear information about everything we needed to know for making this a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I would love to stay here again!

Home away from home.

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed for several weeks and it felt like home from the moment we walked in. The location is excellent, walking distance to the best of Nob Hill and very central to everything else in the city. The house is comfortable and expands and contracts nicely with extra people. We have two young children and my in-laws came to stay for a week while we were there and we all fit quite nicely. The backyard is awesome and the neighborhood feels very safe and friendly. Melanie is great to work with and made us feel extremely welcome. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a comfortable home to spend their vacation or business trip in.

relaxing and comfortable weekend in Albuquerque

  • 5 of 5

The house is very well maintained and nicely furnished. I stayed there with 4 friends and we particularly enjoyed the furnishings, textiles, and books in the house. The kitchen is also well equipped and clean. The owner is very accommodating and helpful with ideas of places to visit. She was easy to contact and thorough during the whole process. I highly recommend this great little house. The one caveat being that there is only one bathroom. This was no problem for us, but may be for some, or for a longer stay.

Charming cottage; great location.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were moving to Albuquerque and didn't have a place to stay. A few days before our arrival, I found this vacation rental and it was perfect. Great location - walking distance to Nob Hill restaurants, theaters, stores. Cute neighborhood; very safe. Very cute cottage with perfect amenities if you're staying for a week or so. Melanie, the owner, was not only a warm host, but also a great resource for us newcomers to Albuquerque. Would highly recommend it!

Sweet little house in a grat location

  • 5 of 5

I have nothing but fond memories of the six months I spent in this house. It is a short (10 min) walk to a variety of really nice restaurants and shops, but far enough from the commercial strip to be very quiet. The neighborhood is calm and neat--one of the nicer spots to stay in Albuquerque. The house itself is everything the description says. Not ostentatious, but clean and comfortable, beautiful light, well cared for--the place has a really good vibe. The owner was a pleasure to deal with. When there was a little initial trouble with the internet connection, she went out of her way to make sure it was sorted out promptly. She was always available and responsive, and never intrusive. I can't think of enough good things to say.
