LAKE OCONEE DEEP WATER!GREAT SWIMMING/SKIINGSLEEPS 2-14

Our group decided to stop for a few nights on the way back from the Masters to relax, unwind and play some golf. The house and location exceeded our expectations. Centrally located and close to great golf, restaurants, while maintaining the secluded lake house experience. We made good use of the deck close to the water, and the number of bedrooms and restrooms ensured both privacy and comfort.

Carol was very hospitable, and the house was immaculate and prepared for our arrival.

No complaints, I would rent again should I be fortunate enough to be back in the area.

As we drove up to this beautiful vacation home, we found ample parking for our 5 cars. We entered the home to find it immaculate and well-supplied. It was the perfect home for our family of 10 adults and 4 children. One of my children and their family enjoyed the large master suite which included a lovely bathroom. Another of my children and their family enjoyed a the large upstairs suite that had sleeping for 6 people. Then, there were plenty of rooms for the rest of us.

The home was well-equipped with supplies and appliances. There were plenty of towels, linen, cleaning products, and kitchen supplies. All appliances were in perfect working order including the frig, ovens, toaster oven, toaster, washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc. There were even 2 coffee makers. The ac was equally cool throughout the house no matter which level you were on or which room we were in. There was also a gas grill outside that we used and it, too, was in excellent condition.

The dock was perfect because the water was more than 10 feet deep as promised. There were plenty of hooks for our kayak and various inflatable boats, plus the slip for our rented ski boat. There was an on-the-lake bait store within kayak distance for the fishermen and fisherwomen in our group. There was a large, shaded deck with comfortable furniture close to the water, and there was another large, shaded deck off of the living room.

There were plenty of stores nearby including a Publix where we shopped several times. And there were several nearby restaurants that were enjoyed by our family.

We highly recommend this vacation home to any group whether large or small.

Fantastic property. The house is situated with great lake views from two of the first floor bedrooms along with the kitchen, living room, and deck, and the picture of the walk down to the lake is a great representation of the mild grade making for an easy walk down to the lake. This house has a great interior and exceptional layout if you're headed to the lake with a few friends (as I did) or with a larger family. The deck under the tall hardwoods with adirondack chairs is a great spot if you need to beat the heat for a couple minutes and find some shade. I would highly recommend this property, and it has a great location close to the main shopping areas, but still tucked away enough to not feel overly commercial.
