This lovely 1920's cottage is minutes from the beach on a quiet lane at the edge of Siasconset Village. This original cottage is fully equipped with 2 bedrooms (one queen, one with a double bed and a room with twin beds.) There is one bathroom with a claw footed tub/shower and an outdoor private shower. A large wrap-around deck with picnic table and lounge chairs is perfect for dining and entertaining. The rustic cottage is charmingly decorated with Nantucket memorabilia and nautical art. There is High Speed Internet and Cable TV. Most guests find it relaxing to park their cars and have no need to drive once they arrive at the cottage.
It is a short walk to the Beaches, Ocean and 'Sconset Village where you will find a gourmet restaurants, a market, sandwich shop, 'Sconset Cafe, post office, liquor store, movies. The Chanticleer Restaurant, Summer House Restaurant, and Summer House Beachside Bistro are known for excellent dining within walking distance in the neighborhood. The islands shuttle bus stops at the corner if you would like to go into Nantucket town and explore other parts of the island. The island bike path is located close by. From the cottage location expect privacy, serenity and beautiful sunsets in a peaceful natural setting.
We have loved coming to Nantucket for decades. The island has always had a special magic and charm.
Our family has been coming here since 1955. We especially love exploring the conservation areas and 70 miles of pristine beaches.
