Tranquillly tucked away in the prestigious Beach Plum Meadows area of Katama, this striking contemporary farmhouse was designed by noted architectural firm Mark Hutcker Associates. Set amid a sunny, golden-hued meadow, this four building compound centers around a large pool and hot tub with striking details inside and out. The buildings are anchored by a Great Room with a wall of glass doors and windows that open out to a large bluestone patio with dining for eight, yard and the pool area. The open Great Room design with vaulted ceilings has Living and Dining areas, plus a fully-equipped Chef's Kitchen with stainless steel breakfast bar/cooking island and limestone countertops. There are muted greens and yellows, and architectural built-ins throughout. The Great Room connects to a two-story building that has the three Main House bedrooms. The Master Suite comprises the entire second floor, with Den/Office, his and her closets, bedroom with vaulted ceiling and built-ins, and walk-in glass shower in the bathroom. In addition to the other two Bedrooms downstairs, there is a Media Room with Home Theater. The seperate Guest House Suite with full bath is located above the garage. ; Heated gunite pool is 20x37-feet with custom hot tub. Pool area is ringed with bluestone patio and perennial gardens, with comfortable lounge and entertaining areas. NOTE: The garage and a seperate private studio are not included ;with rental. Fireplace in Great Room is not available for use.
