Beautiful, with perfect layout

Our family group of 16 rented this home and the smaller one next door for a Thanksgiving week getaway. Ages ranged from 2 - 56, with travelers from Texas, North Carolina and Florida. We have done this for several vacations, and I must say that this was the best. The house was just as described, was very clean, had every needed amenity and accessory, and the layout -- bedrooms, family areas, and bathrooms -- was perfect for our group. There was ample space for quiet moments, alone time, group games and activities (best game room we've had), meals, and even family crafts. Signs of normal wear and tear on the property were minimal and the maintenance staff was very cordial and helpful. One could tell that the property is well-maintained. The owner was helpful and accomodating and any contact with him was easy and efficient. The Emerald Island location is ideal for those wanting the Disney experience, dining out, shopping and more activities, yet quiet enough for those who just want to relax and get away from the bustle. Some of our group enjoyed several restaurants, outlet shopping, mini golf and nightlife, while others enjoyed being at the house relaxing around the pool (It was a bit chilly for Floridians that week.). I only wish that we had an even longer stay. I highly recommend this property and this area to any who seek a variety of activity and event choices as well as the 'home away from home' feel. I'd actually like to give the property more than five stars.
