10 Bedrooms, 7.5 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

Athearn House is an exquisitely furnished 18th century estate, with modern additions and comforts, set in three park-like acres at a very private waterfront ;location on prestigous Planting Field Way. There are eight bedrooms between the Main House and Carriage House, each with a distinctive character of its own. All but one have ensuite baths (#6 has half bath only). The Master Suite has water views in two directions and features ;its own ;sitting room. Many of the other bedrooms enjoy water views as well. The 16x34-foot heated gunite pool has a comfortable bluestone patio, and outdoor dining room and kitchen with pergola that are attached to the ground level of the Carriage House. The water views from the pool are equally as dramatic as the rest of the property. The is a private 300-foot sandy beach on Nantucket Sound and Eel Pond which is ideal for swimming and boating for all ages. You will feel worlds away, but Athearn House is less than a mile from downtown Edgartown Village.
