About this property

Mountain and farm views, climber / hiker retreat

Just 8 minutes to Smith Rock, the Hideout is a cozy retreat for climbers, hikers, and those wanting to unplug and explore the beauty of Central Oregon. Take in the views of farmlands and the Cascade mountains beyond from the covered porch and upper level bedroom. Perfect for 1-3 guests.

The Hideout is my personal retreat. While away, I’m happy to share it with outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy creature comforts after a day of getting after it outdoors. I recently remodeled the Hideout and updated the interiors.

There is something magical about the Hideout, the daybed with views of the Cascade mountains is the perfect spot to rest, write, dream and rejuvenate for whatever adventure lies ahead. Wifi is provided and there is decent cell service in the area. There is a blue tooth speaker, and Roku TV. Feel free to use my guitar and/or yoga mat.

About the host

Hosted by Wanderlust Properties NW

Host profile image
I'm a designer based in Portland Oregon, climber and distance runner. I host to travelers in my favorite places in the state - Central Oregon, and at the coast (Oceanside).
I love to explore the pacific northwest and more distant places, sometimes with my 2 amazing kids and sometimes without.

Why they chose this property

The Hideout is my personal retreat and headquarters for adventures in Central Oregon. I stay here when I'm in the area to climb, ski at Hoodoo or Bachelor in the winter, or cool off in the Cascade Lakes in the summer. While away, I’m happy to this unique little haven with outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy creature comforts after a day of getting after it outdoors.

What makes this property unique

There is something magical about the Hideout, the daybed with views of the Cascade mountains is the perfect spot to rest, write, dream and rejuvenate for whatever adventure lies ahead. :)
