Ideally located on the much sought after western, residential end of Grace Bay Beach in the Turtle Cove area of Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands. Coriander Cottage is within easy walking distance of good restaurants and the marina offering fishing, diving, tours and some limited shopping.
The cottage is beachfront, with your private footpath from the pool deck right to the beach. You can quite literally walk for miles and miles on this magnificent white sandy beach! Smith's Reef with some of the best snorkeling Providenciales has to offer also begins just outside your door. Here you can simply wade out from shore and snorkel on one of the best reefs in the country. Note: with the coral reef so close to the shore, a rocky strip exists between the sandy beach and the water in this immediate area, but there are several nearby easy access points into the water.
The beach in front of Coriander Cottage awaits your footprints. This beautifully intimate cottage is surrounded by lush, tropical landscaping and palm trees providing additional privacy.
This romantic stone cottage has one bedroom with a king-sized bed, marble bathroom, gourmet kitchen, living room with cathedral beamed ceiling, swimming pool, coral stone terrace, and furnished to a very high standard with a large flat panel TV in the living room, a TV in the bedroom, and of course central air conditioning throughout.
The swimming pool is surround by generous deck space of natural, coral stone with Tropitone chaise lounges, chairs and tables. The coral stone's light, natural color keeps it from getting too hot for your feet and its natural texture provides a non-slip surface where you will find yourself walking atop interesting, million-year-old fossils. Note: The pool is small, 12 x 14.5 feet, and four feet deep in the deep end.
Coriander Cottage has an elevated gazebo, where by day you can sit and enjoy spectacular views of the brilliant turquoise sea and watch boats go by, and by night see more stars then you thought existed. What better place to be and hear the ocean roar, feel the gentle trade winds, and watch the moon rise!
The pool deck is surrounded by palm trees and tropical foliage providing you with ultimate privacy, but allowing only a limited view of the ocean. However, from the elevated gazebo you get truly excellent views of the sparkling sea, with waves breaking over the distant reef with the deep blue beyond.
Both living room and bedroom each have high cathedral, beamed ceilings, travertine marble floors, and hand cut stone walls containing French doors leading to the private pool and pool terrace.
The living room is separated from the kitchen by a granite bar with a high beamed ceiling above. In the kitchen you will find a side-be-side refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, smooth surface stove and oven, blender, toaster, and all the equipment you will ever need. The kitchen also has solid wood cabinets and granite counter tops.
The king sized bedroom also has a beautiful, high, cathedral ceiling and travertine marble floors. There is also a large TV in the bedroom armoire. The beautiful marble bathroom has a double vanity, large wall mirror, magnifying mirror and hair dryer.
Coriander Cottage has ceiling fans in each room and it gets a comfortable, almost constant trade wind, so it would be rare to exceed the AC allotment.
PLEASE NOTE
The air conditioning is metered in order to discourage use with the doors and windows open. It is not expensive if used judiciously and you are not charged for the first $100 per week in usage, after which extra usage is billed at the going rate per kilowatt hour. There is a separate, easy to read, digital AC meter where you may monitor AC usage if you wish.
