Our one bedroom, Mackinaw City Michigan vacation rental condo is located in The Shores at Mackinaw Condominium resort. Available year round and fully furnished with outdoor heated beach front pool. Please see rates listed under rates below. Located on the pristine shores of Lake Huron, just one mile south of Mackinaw City and is on a natural beach. Enjoy the beautiful view where Lake Michigan and Lake Huron meet and of the Mackinac Bridge and historic Mackinac Island. You can enjoy all the flavors that the Mackinaw area has to offer and minutes be back in your Northern Michigan retreat.

See breathtaking sunrises from your private patio. Take a dip in our heated beachfront pool. Relax on our private natural sandy beach or sundeck. Grill your fresh catch on the gas grills in the community pavillion and picnic area. Enjoy cool evenings by the bonfire. About Maria Fenech

We grew up in Michigan and still live and work in Michigan. Mackinaw City has always been our family's favorite vacation destination in Michigan. We never tire of visiting Mackinaw City, Mackinaw Island and Northern Michigan.

Why Maria Fenech chose Mackinaw City

We were actually walking in the Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk and then spent the day on Mackinac Island. When taking the Mackinac Island ferry back to Mackinaw City we drove past the new condos being built at the Shores of Mackinaw 49701 in Sept 2001 and simply fell in love with this Luxury Condominium Complex located on the Shores of Lake Huron directly facing Mackinac Island and also a spectacular view of the Mackinaw Bridge. It doesn't get any better than this in Mackinaw City!

What makes this condo unique

Our condominium has a wonderful and informative conceirge service. Our condo is within walking distance of a heated swimming pool with a spectacular view of Lake Huron and Mackinac Island. Bonfires on the beach every evening during the summertime are the norm. Excellent view of the 4th of July fireworks from our beach every year. Golfing at the Mackinac Club is always enjoyable. We can walk to the Mackinac Island ferries, the lighthouse, beaches, Fort Michilamackinac & visit great restaurants and shops. We can drive to St. Ignace Casino, Tahquamenon Falls, Lex Cheneaux Islands, Sault St. Marie, Drummond Island and only an hour away from Petoskey's excellent shopping atomosphere.

Location! Location! Location!!

If you want to experience all the excitement of Mackinaw Island, Charlevoix, Petoskey and return to a quiet and relaxing condo, then I recommend this place! After a hectic day we looked forward to a glass of wine watching the beautiful sunsets on the long sandy beach just steps from the condo. At night, for more relaxation we grilled our steaks on the outside gas grill and then went to the grand fire pit to enjoy the starry night and watched the flames lick the night sky. Sometimes when we had some energy left we took a dip in the heated pool. We appreciated the showers and changing rooms at the pool. The king size bed is extremely comfortable and the towels and bedding are of a high quality. The kitchen has everything you could want and the internet wifi was a real plus! The grocery stores are very close, downtown is 2 miles away and the ferry to the Island is within minutes.Biking trails are within minutes of the condo. We hope to return to this little piece of heaven.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Excellent place to stay off Mackinac Island. Only minutes away by boat!! Loved it!!

Took a late spring vacation to Mackinaw City and stayed at this beautifully decorated one bedroom condo. Maria thank you so much for letting our family stay here for the week. Spent a couple days on Mackinac Island and than traveled back to your condo which was like coming back home. Loved the fully furnished kitchen and the internet wifi in the condo. The weather has been unseasonably warm up here and we happened to pick a great week to visit the great north!. We will definitely be back this summer also :-)

We had such a great time exploring Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island on our bikes and we were happy knowing that we had such a relaxing place to come back home to. Maria,
Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful condo. We have rented many homes through VRBO but never a condo because we always felt condos were sterile and noisy. However, renting your condo has changed our minds. The condo is beautifully decorated and very quiet and peaceful. The location allowed us to bike the North Central State Trail with access across the street off Stimpson Road, bike to the ferry and enjoy Mackinac Island, Tour the Fort, Boat Tour of the Soo Locks, visit Petoskey and Charlevoix, grocery shop in Cheboygan and most importantly....eat Mackinaw Fudge!! The only thing missing was the ability to use the internet to check emails and pay bills, (By the way we have now added Internet access to our condo :-) as we have been on a road trip for many weeks and needed to check a few things and was difficult to find a place to link up. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend your condo. Thank you again!!

Dear Maria,
Thank you for sharing your condo with us this week. We sincerely enjoyed venturing through Mackinac & St Ignace and had a welcoming home to return to each evening. We found this week was about enjoying simple pleasures. The highlight of our day on the island was finding the perfect stone-skipping beach at mile 4 of the loop! Who knew this could fascinate and 8 and 4 year old for hours?

Our boys also have been captivated by a local author, Jonathon Rand. This is the first time we've seen them not be able to put a book down :-) Hopefully, "The Super-scary night thingy" won't cause any bad dreams.... Thanks again!
