Looking for your perfect beach getaway? The Green Gull Cottage at Pointe West is your perfect place. Enjoy your stay in an inviting and beautifully decorated, three bedroom, three and a half bath 1800 sq foot beachside cottage located a short 3 minute walk to the beach. The upper level has a fully equipped kitchen (coffee maker, blender, waffle maker etc), dining room with comfortable seating for 8 + 2 additional bar chairs. The living area with large balcony has views of the gulf, bay and lagoon and is equipped with a 50'' plasma TV and surround sound DVD. Every room has TV cable service, WiFi, and nationwide landline telephone service. The kitchen also has a second bar area with sink and beverage refrigerator. Three bedrooms with private baths are located on the lower level. Master has king bed, large bath, private balcony, desk and TV. Second bedroom has a queen bed, balcony, and private bath. Third bedroom has a futon (fold-out to full size queen bed) and a twin bunk bed (upper level to be used by children only), TV and private bath. If you need to wash clothes, a washer and dryer are at your disposal. All towels (with the exception of large beach towels), bath soap, kitchen/dishwasher detergent, spices etc are supplied. So just bring yourselves and get ready to have a wonderful vacation.

The lower deck has a charcoal BBQ and a storage space with all your beach amenities: chairs, kid’s toys, hammock, floats etc. Have a boat or camper? No problem. Unrestricted parking is available just across the street. Rental includes access to the Pointe West Beach Club with a beautiful spa, pool, children's pool/play area, fitness center and game room. My family usually rents the same beach house each Easter. However, we are continuing to grow and have outgrown the one we normally rent. After reviewing the pictures, I contacted Alan. He was very responsive to ALL emails, in which I appreciated. ANYTIME I had a question or concern he would ALWAYS respond.

Upon on arrival, the beach house was very nice and well kept. We really enjoyed our stay. Although the pool was a bit chilly during our Easter stay, we still managed to have a great time.

We will rent again.

My family of 5 stayed for Spring Break and it was the perfect beach cottage! The cottage was clean, beautiful and so many amenities around the cottage with the resort and walking distance to a private clean beach. If you have small ones they offer a highchair, pack-n-play and baby gate. My favorite part was enjoying my coffee on the many porches listening to the ocean. The owners where so very nice preparing us for our trip and a wonderful gift mailed to us after our vacation. The best part is that you are located on the west side a ways from the seawall and crazy traffic. You can venture into SurfSide across the bridge and enjoy some local small cafes or head East into Galveston for the waterpark, amusements & more! We look forward to our next family vacation here at the Green Gull!

Best Beach in Texas

This home was perfectly situated in this awesome neighborhood. The walkway to the beach was very close, even with our 3yr old it took just a few minutes. The beaches were groomed and the sand was clean and so soft. The house was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. Of all the vacation homes we have rented, this home had the best electronics and TV systems (the kids were thrilled). The view from the balcony was a beautiful sunset over the bay, and you could see the waves on the beach as well. The kids loved exploring around the pond in the backyard. The pools were very nice at the beach club, and the staff was friendly. I will be back in the summertime!
