4 bedrooms plus 2 sleeper couches, 2 bathrooms, sleeps up to 12

Complete remodel of kitchen and bathrooms! All New bigger kitchen, large full bath and half bath, all tiled floors.

Escape to your 'Up North” getaway on Lower South Long Lake in Brainerd, MN with your family or group of friends (Max 12 people including children) the perfect place to bring everyone! New kitchen with all your cooking needs, dishwasher, dining area, vaulted living room, vaulted family room, New full bath and New half bath, 4 upstairs bedrooms, 2 new queen sleeper couches on the main level and satellite TV, washer and dryer 2 refrigerators. NO PETS.

We rent May 27- Aug 3 only.

May 27-June 23 We will rent for a mnm of 3 nights or weekly June 23-Aug 3 we only rent for a week (7 days) mnm (Sat - Sat)

Watch for bald eagles, there are many on the lake! We have a sandy beach play area, 150 feet of sandy, shallow lakeshore, and a 60 ft dock. Lower South Long Lake is a gem of a lake, 1300 acres, very quiet, offering great fishing for walleye, bass, northern pike, crappies and pan fish, along with lots of room for water sports. Hiking, biking, golfing, Paul Bunyon and Babe the Blue Ox all nearby. Two hours north of Minneapolis, seven miles SE of Brainerd.

Wonderful family owned cabin on a quiet lake: We provide a paddle boat and row boat (bring a fishing boat motor)! Our lake is very quiet and our cabin is on a dead end road. We have great neighbors, lots of room in the yard to play or hang out without being on top of other cabins. The lakeside of the cabin is tree covered so on the hot days there is lots of shade. Don't miss this wonderful family owned cabin for your families to start their summer vacation memories!

NOTE: we limit the number of day/visiting guests to 4 out of respect for our neighbors. NO pets, No smoking inside.

About Julie Sheehy

This is our family cabin that we continue to make improvements to, including our major remodel of the kitchens and bathrooms, Due to kids sports schedules we can't use it the beginning part of the summer. This will be our 10th year of renting to families that want to vacation together and need a bigger place.

Beautiful new big kitchen with tiled floors and everything you need to cook and entertain including a dishwasher! Beautiful new full bath (tub and shower) and 1/2 bath, tiled floors, storage space. The layout is great because of the big family room on one side of what use to be a duplex, and the kitchen, dining room/living room area on the other side. There's a door between the 4 bedrooms upstairs so you can have a little privacy if there are 2 families. We have a 2nd refrigerator in the mudroom entry along with a washer and dryer.

What makes this cabin unique

Big open lot, lots of privacy, wonderful lake.. Its a beautiful knotty pine cabin but with all the new amenities inside and lots of room outside. Big firepit area, great swing to watch the sunrise if you get up early:)

The cabin has a beautiful view of the lake with 150 feet of lakeshore on Lower South Long Lake. It sits up the hill, so we have breezes come in even on the hottest days with lots of shade around the cabin from big old trees. There are many things to do in and around Brainerd, all within 5-15minutes. Golf, shopping, restaurants, hiking and biking, see Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox, and the Brainerd International Raceway.

Notes: The cabin is up on the hill and gets a great breeze off the lake and is well shaded. There are about 25 stairs down to the lake which may make it difficult for anyone who has challenges with stairs. No pets allowed by guests or visitors; No smoking except for outside.
