Minutes to Newport Dining and Night Life: We are located about five miles to the Jamestown Bridge and approximately ten miles to Newport register for 'Easy Pass' and pay just seventy five cents toll for the Newport Bridge! Travel daily to sites on either island or onto Middletown R.I., Tiverton R.I. and Little Compton R.I. home of the Sakonnet Winnery and onto Cape Cod MA. for a daily excursion this way too; or head to Fall River MA for Factory Outlet Shopping. Head farther South into Westerly and Watch Hill or on to Connecticut to take in a Show or try your luck in Gambling at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun!

Sail, fish, schedule a deep sea fishing trip or whale watching trip, visit area beaches, see the Newport Mansions, stroll the famous Cliff Walk, catch a game at the Tennis hall of Frame or dine in all of the best restaurants and dance the night away. If you like ice cream, do not miss the Brickley's on Route 1A.

If you prefer to stop by the docks and cook yourself, local fishermen and lobster man and woman offer their catch of the day dock side also in Point Judith. Do not miss the oysters, steamer clams and 'quahogs' at the local fish markets too or buy a rake and try your luck.

I am sharing my family summer home with guests for only a few yeras now. This will be my retirement home and sharing it alloes me to keep it until then. We welcome you like family in person and we try our best to make you feel at home.

This home has it all a huge yard for the kids to play in and for extended family to gather. It has its own beach,and mooring so parents can relax while their kids play ten feet away at the beach. We also have a neighborhood beach and boat ramp two doors down. We are just ten minutes to the Ocean.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (US Dollar) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • Cleaning charge is per stay, if you stay for more than a week it is one maid service at end of stay.
  • $1400. is a Saturday to Saturday or six nights. Check out at eleven am. for existing guests and check in at three pm. for new guests to allow for maid service and fresh linens.
  • For week long (or more ) guests the cleaning fee is included in the rental fee. Our cleaning contractor charges us extra for mid-week and weekend only service in addition to our weekly rate which is why we have to pass that charge on to our short term guests. Mid week rentals are only available pre- and post seaon.

  • Two full baths one on each floor. The first floor shower is located in the laundry room allowing another guest to shower while one uses the lavette next door to freshen up or shave.

  • Three very spacious bed rooms with individual air conditioning units and water views. The house accommodates six with ease ! I keep two extra twin bed frames with twin inflatable mattresses for guests traveling with small ones. PLease bring your own child bed rail, baby gates and electrical child proofing if needed. You will also need to bring a travel crib for infants and a high chair if needed. Please note that aqua shoes and a life vest are recommended for little ones too.

Notes:
House keeper will ready home for your arrival. You may bring your own pillows, linens, blankets and towels or use ours. Please bring your own beach towels , beach chairs, sand toys and coolers. Garbage day is Friday early morning all trash to be placed in bags prior to being put into trash cans per local ordinance and then to be placed curb side on Thursday evening.

We had a very nice time here. Convenient to beaches, restaurants, Newport, and the Block Island Ferry. The house is as pictured and a very relaxing accomodation. The hot water heater broke broke our third day, but the owner did a wonderful job of getting it fixed before the end of the day. Would definately rent again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
