Nutmeg, which is located in the upscale residential neighborhood of Spring Farm, recently underwent a massive whole house renovation. The villa is located just five minutes from three world-class golf courses, upscale boutiques, shops, bars, restaurants and beaches. Included in the rental rate of the villa is complementary membership to the nearby deluxe Half Moon Golf, Tennis and Beach Resort.
Nutmeg is set on five acres of gardens lush with tropical flowers, oranges, limes, lemons, breadfruit and mango trees. The large lawn make it an ideal playground for children.
Entrance is through carved entrance doors complete with antique brass fittings and the magnificent view is stunning. The view becomes even more dramatic as one moves through the spacious living room to the shaded verandah and beyond to the private swimming pool and expansive lawn. The views from Nutmeg of the blue Caribbean Sea are truly breathtaking.
The villa is built on two levels. Four of the bedrooms are located on the main level and the firth is located downstairs. All of the bedrooms have air-conditioning and Bose iPod docks, phones with room-to-room intercoms and cable TV. All of the bedrooms have expansive doors that open to a wrap around furnished verandah. All of the bathrooms are recently renovated with state of the art Grohe and Italian Toto fixtures and granite counter-tops.
The master bedroom is located on the main level and features a four-poster mahogany bed, en-suite bathroom with a two person Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. Additionally, there is a dressing room with his and hers vanities and double sink basins. The master bedroom includes a den complete with a 42' home cinema, DVD, sound-system, copier and Fax.
The three other bedrooms located upstairs have king sized beds (one is actually twins but may be made up as a king). One of the bedrooms had a make-up area, a spacious bathroom complete with a bidet and bathtub-shower combination as well as Chippendale furniture that was crafted in Jamaica in the 1960's and carefully restored this year. The third bedroom has a king sized bed and en-suite bathroom with walk in drench rain shower. The fourth bedroom has king or twin beds and en-suite bathroom.
Downstairs, the firth bedroom has the options of three twin beds or one twin and one king sized bed. It is a very spacious room with a pool table, wall-mounted 40' TV, kitchenette and en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. This bedroom is accessed via n exterior spiral staircase and opens to a private terrace. This suite is ideally suited for adults, teens or a family.
Adjoining the verandah is the covered al fresco dining terrace which is an ideal spot to savor the delicious meals prepared by the Nutmeg cook. Lunches are served on the dining verandah or at shaded poolside umbrella tables.
Outside, the large octagonal private pool is furnished with beautiful teak chaises with plump cushions. A terrace wraps around the Caribbean side of the villa. The living room and all bedrooms adjoin this long terrace via dramatic French doors that fold back so each doorway opens wide to the vast blue sea view.
Nutmeg includes complementary Half Moon Golf, Tennis and Beach Club Membership. The club is located just a 5 minute drive from the villa.
