Our mountain home is the perfect ski getaway location. Step out the front door, put on your skis and you are off for a wonderful day of skiing. Leave soup in the crock pot and come in for lunch to a welcoming aroma and a relaxing sunny atmosphere. Finish your day by the roaring wood-burning fireplace. The master bedroom has a private bath bathroom with full tub and shower. The bunk room has two sets of bunk beds, sleeping 4, and its own full bath off the hallway with a stall shower. The loft had two single beds and a full bathroom with shower.

This is a skier's dream--great skiing on the highest peak in southern Vermont, abundant snowmaking on 95% of the terrain. Beautiful beginner trails and challenging expert runs. Stratton Village has shopping, dining and even sushi. Our unit is easy to access, comfortable and cozy, and perfect for a family vacation spot, winter or summer. The outlets at Manchester are a short 20 minute drive. It is the perfect mountain escape.

About The Owner

This has been a family mountain escape for almost 25 years--a joy to family and friends. We love all the seasons at Stratton as they are all beautiful. But our main interest is skiing and our place has been perfect--wake up, put on the skis and go. No parking hassles, no shuttles, no dealing with the crowded base lodge. Ski home in the evening to a beautiful fire and relax. It's perfect.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 1987
Why The Owner chose Stratton Mountain

Stratton is a convenience distance from New York, New Jersey and Boston. It's convenient location has made it easy for us to go and for our friends to join us.

What makes this townhome unique

Our location is convenient to skiing and still an easy walk to the village. The views of the mountain are beautiful. It is also a stone's throw from the Slopeside pool, the clubhouse with ping pong, foosball and hot tub. A fabulous location.

great long weekend getaway

We had a joint father/son weekend (2 dads and their sons). The unit was true ski out (ski in required a very short walk). The unit was clean, comfortable and very convenient to everything at the mountain. It worked well for the 4 of us and would be even better for a family. The landlord was very helpful, prompt and a pleasure to deal with. And, returned my security deposit promptly. I recommend it highly.

Excellent weekend getaway

We stayed here from Jan 21-24 and had a wonderful time. The owner was in communication with me both prior to our visit ("Did you get the info and keys in the mail?") as well as during our getaway ("Just checking in to make sure everything is okay"). Security deposit was refunded in a timely fashion. Our group consisted of only two couples, but there was room for more. Upon our arrival the heat and lights were on, and there was plenty of wood for the fireplace. Location was perfect--walk out the door, put on your skis, and ski down to the lift. We didn't use the clubhouse/community area, but probably would have if our stay was longer. Overall, we had a great time and hope to come back soon.

My family stayed here for 5 days over Xmas week: 5 young children and 2 adults. The 3 bedrooms, living areas and kitchen were spacious, very clean and fully stocked. The location is great for ski-in ski-out and/or to go outside and play. Everything you want for a weekend or week long getaway. Owner very helpful and reachable.
