Perched high on the mountain, nestled amongst the rhododendrons, Byrd's Nest is the perfect vacation getaway. Newly built in 2006, this charming Timberframe home welcomes you. Enjoy sunrise and sunset views, starlit skies from the rock ledge, and the treefrog chorus from the porch rockers. Take time to cook dinner on the outdoor char-coal grill, light a fire in the stone fireplace, or relax in the porch swing, or lounge in the hot tub. The house is 15 minutes from Black Mountain and Montreat and another 15 minutes over to Asheville, Lake Lure, Chimney Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The subdivision roads are gravel for approximately 2 miles. NO 4WD is required unless wintery conditions exist. HOUSE LAYOUT: Main floor: kitchen, living room, half hall bath, master BR with queen and full bath. Upstairs: small den, RB with king and twin, BR with two twins, full hall bath. LINENS INCLUDED for your convenience.
