The Carriage House on Main. Antebellum Charm, Modern Comfort.

I have traveled to many places and stayed in many hotels and condos. This was by far the best and easiest to book. Jerry, the owner was very helpful and his check in process is priceless. It was really the least hassle checking in and out I have ever had (it was like arriving to and leaving your own home). Besides that, it was the cutest most convenient place to stay in Lexington. My fiance, mom and I flew in for the George Strait concert and we were only 2-3 blocks from Rupp arena. We walked to all the places we ate and went out to. There were only a few tourist things that we actually had to drive to (which you would no matter where you stayed). We told everybody about the place while we were staying there, we were just so impressed! Why stay in a stuffy crowded hotel room when you can have the spacious charm of this carriage house? We will more than likely return to Lexington for a visit just knowing that we would have such a great place to stay! Look no further, this is the best you'll find! I could go on for days about how satisfied you'll be!

Don't be fooled by the unassuming outside of this cottage house or the location directly next to a condo complex. Inside was beautiful, more than enough space for two people. I rented the house with another co-worker for 5 days for a workshop we were holding. We were both apprehensive to rent a home instead of hotel rooms but our fears dissipated the moment we opened the door. The home was a mix of modern with old world charm, brick walls and wood beam ceilings. The internet worked perfect for our needs and the TV has a complete array of channels. Central A/C in an old home was a real plus. The location to downtown could not be better. Even though we were there for work the cottage made it feel like a vacation. We both want to go back.

We stayed at the carriage house while doing the bourbon trail. It was very easy to get there and was within walking distance to local restaurants and even walked to the newest distillery on the trail Town Branch. The bed was very comfy and enjoyed having all the luxuries of home. If we are in Lexington again I will defiantly be staying here again!! Thanks Jerry for an awesome stay : )
