Condo on the river

The condo was nicely described and was as is when we arrived. Beautiful view. The only disappointment as far as the kitchen was the fact that owner left all of her food in the refrigerator so we barely had room to put our food in there for 3 day supply. When we walked down in the basement to the 3rd bedroom, it was quite disgusting to see dog poop on the bedroom floor! When I told owner of this the next morning, she acted as though that could not be. We had no pets with us so it did not come from us. Owner was helpful in answering questions. I would say if you rent this condo, do not use the TV. Owner kept our deposit because she said there was sound but no picture. It is an LCD tv so there is no picture tube. Because of owners incapabilities of not knowing how to use the TV remote, she kept our deposit for a tv repair bill to "adjust her TV". So I suggest that if you plan to rent this condo, do NOT use the TV or you will lose your deposit. Also, would be beneficial to have her present to inspect property before arrival and befrore you leave to make sure this does not happen to you.
Owner's Response: I have to say I'm very disappointed in the respones of these 4 wonderfull women that stayed at my condo. I live here by myself year round but travel alot with my current company in 5 state area. My place is 2700 sq. feet, and I never cook meals at my place because I'm gone so often and food tends to spoil very quickly, and is so much cheaper to eat out than cook for one person. With that said I can assure everyone that the only food I have in my refrigerator is condiments, and water. As far as the tv, it can be complicated if you are unfamiliar with all the options this surround system offers at my place, and is easy to push the wrong buttons. What I can tell you is when I arrived home, and turned on my tv system I had sound, but no picture. I asked my neighbor to look at the system, because he has the same system, and he couldn't get the picture to appear. I called a tv repairman to my unit, and the house call was $75.00 visit to determine the cause of the tv. It was a simple fix, but I being a women couldn't get a picture. Do to this occuirance I now only let my occupants use the tv only, I don't know why this group of girls were unhappy at my place, I can say the that this is the reason why I charge a damage deposit. They also were kind enough to wash towels, but they mixed dark with white, and now my towels are brown.
