The lazy bzzz provides excellent accomadations. The house is well built and furnished. The listing states wifi, however, there was no connection or even dsl ,so bring your own Internet. The listing also states 5 acres, what you cannot see in the pictures or description is the occupied guest cabin within 20 feet of the house which is in view from master bedroom, kitchen and great room. Pictures also fail to show the 360 views of all the homes you are very closely surrounded by. Privacy is an issue if that is what you expect. We had rented the house for a month, however, we left only after 11 days due to the fires surrounding and in the bitterroot valley. The fires were burning in August and got increasingly worse during our visit making views impossible and air quality very poor . Being from VA, we had no idea that fires were a usual fall occurrence and would probably last until first snowfall. The smoke was unbearable. Being the fires had started way prior to our visit, I think a call from the owner should have been made, so we could have decided for ourselves if we wanted to make a 2300 mile trip, one way, to stay indoors, not being able to enjoy the outdoor beauty that Montana has to offer.
Hamilton has 4 grocery stores, a great downtown with several dining choices, (don't miss the filing station grill) a Kmart , several fast food options, a movie theater with 6 screens, Costco 50 miles away in Missoula
Property is clean, well stocked
Would not recommend to family or friends due to privacy, not the house itself.
Owner was aware of the closeness of fires, evacuations for homes 4 miles away. Again, I think a call informing us of the wildfires should have been made since we live so far away.
