Wilmersdorf Apartment Rental Photos and Description
Apartment, 1 Bedroom + Den, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 3)
I LOVE my flat in Berlin, and so will you !!!
This is a comfortable and chic Charlottenburg home that invites respect and consideration by its guests.
Located on a quiet tree-lined street just steps from the famous 'Kurfuerstendamm' ( nickname: 'Ku-Damm' ) in a typical Berliner 'Altbau' ( older building ), you will find the charm of the 1920's.
Wide plank flooring, woodwork, mouldings, stucco detailing, high ceilings, double french doors and windows are just some of its charm.
The spacious and newly remodeled kitchen features a gas-stove, convection oven, refrigerator/freezer, a washing machine, and comes fully equipped with chef's cooking utensils.
The tiled bathroom provides a tub-shower combination.
In the large bedroom, you will sleep comfortably in a king-sized bed, and there is a wardrobe to store away your items.
The living-room has about 260 sf ( 24 square meters ), an additional day-bed, and you will enjoy the sweet balcony on warm days.
There are gas-radiators in each room.
The flat is 732 sf ( 68 square meters ), and will easily sleep 2 to 4 .
W-Lan ( Wi-FI ) and TV with DVD collection, included in the rate.
'Away from home', you will feel very much AT HOME in this sophisticated Charlottenburg flat.
You will be provided w/ detailed information as to where to ring upon your arrival, w/ the information of a local contact, and a map of the building.
As this is a PRIVATE rental, the on-site manager will be unable to assist you - but your local contact will.
Very close to 'Adenauer Platz' ( Underground, U7 ), the S-Bahn station of 'Charlottenburg', as well as several Bus-Lines going up and down the 'Ku-Damm'.
Everywhere, there are parks, markets, cafes, restaurants, grocery stores and shops of all kind. Children's play grounds can also be found nearby.
Tipp ( my favorite ): 'Stuttgarter Platz' (which the Berliner calls 'Stutti')
I am looking forward to hosting you in exciting Berlin.
- children welcome
- pets not allowed
I live part time in Berlin and my apartment reflects the warmth of being a home, rather than a room in a pension. I love the city and have many resources (books, maps, brochures) of my favorite things to do available for your use. Feel free to browse through them and share my love for Berlin.
I have traveled to Berlin for over 20 years and have finally taken a lease on an apartment I have known since 1989. I am renting this apartment and would rent to short term vacation or corporate clients.
Walk to everything!! The Kaiser Grocery store is very close and open until midnight........a rare convenience in Berlin! Quiet tree-lined street.
