LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! Nestled at the base of Mammoth Mountain, 1849 Condos. Can it get any easier?? For those who dont like driving and want convenience. It is the ideal location for snow access. In the summer, the mountain transforms into a hiking and mountain biking playground. Whether you’re traveling to town for a winter ski trip or a Yosemite National Park adventure, 1849 Condos is the perfect base camp for your vacation.

Enjoy lounging at our heated outdoor swimming pool, soaking in one of our three steaming hot tubs, playing on our own private sledding hill or sharing stories around the summer fire pit. 1849 Condos’ recreation area also features a barbecue pit, ping-pong table, lounge with big screen TV and laundry facility.

The condo affords easy access being located in the newer phase. We are 25 meters from the heated pool and 3 Jacuzzis.

Your friends will be jealous, the complex is

one of the most desired to stay.

Our place has been newly remodeled. Granite kitchen, newly tiled, and tastefully decorated. A cozy fireplace with views of the mountain. Not the typical mammoth cabin but a whole lot more. Take the gondola into town if you want to shop or socialize, then come home to privacy and peace.

Free shuttles into town.

CHILD FRIENDLY!! Our unit is on the 1st floor, easy access. No stairs to climb, just pull up and unload. Two Queen beds in the rooms with a queen pullout in the living room. Great for 2 families.

Catch the gondola down into the village for shopping, dining, drinking, etc... Once you arrive, you pretty much never have to use your car!!

Perfect for families with kids, or people who just don't want to worry about driving while on vacation.

Home away from home. We spend most of our time in the mountains hiking and skiing. Have trekked throughout Africa and South America.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2010

Step out the front door and you look straight on to Lincolns mountain, a personal favorite.

What makes this condo unique

Cant be closer during the winter to Canyon Lodge. Bottom of the mountain bike trails during the winter. At the trailhead for hiking in the summer.

I do not get much vacation time, and appreciate my away time. Your place hit the spot. Being next to canyon lodge and those great jacuzzis was great. I never had to get up early to get a good parking space. My son left his gloves at the condo one day, but it was easy to walk back. My wife and I appreciated the serenity of the area and will recommend your unit to our friends. Merry Christmas.

This vacation was a true pleasure. Your condo worked did the trick. We liked the ease of going to and from the slopes to the unit. The desk had an incredible selection of movies and hot chocolate.
My teenagers had a blast as did their friends. The unit is nicely set up to allow the kids to sleep on one side and adults on the other. Its not easy taking 4 teenagers skiing. Anyway, we will be back next season.

We do a family trip twice a year. As such, it is very important that everything works out perfect.
This was one of those trips. The owners have set this unit up for 2 families. There were basically
no child hazards (which we worry about). It was easy to walk with the kids to class every morning.
Lunch breaks were sooooo convenient. My son left a glove at the condo, we ran back for it, taking only 5 minutes. I was glad we were staying across from the lodge. We didnt get in the car for the entire 5 days.
I highly recommend this place.

Great location, nice accomodations, perfect for skiiers!

Stayed here over MLK weekend. The owners are very nice, and were very quick to respond. They seemed genuinely interested in our stay, which is nice.

Getting there is not hard, and once there, it's an extremely short walk to the lodge, and a quick drive to the Village. There is also a gondola stop to the Village here too, if you don't feel like driving. At the lodge, the addition of a locker there is a great perk (though finding it the first time took some time), since you don't have to lug your stuff there every day!

The condo itself has pretty much everything you need for a fun Mammoth vacation, and it's on the ground floor so getting in/out is a cinch.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

We wanted to stay close to the slopes and were very pleased with the location. 1849 was ideal for coming and going to the ski lifts. We loved not having to drag our skis and more importantly the kids stuff back and forth or hunt for parking. You get what you pay for. First class!z
