Cozy Cabin w/Long Range Views Overlooking the New River

This hillside cabin is perched high, overlooking the New River. With it's one bedroom and bath, plus sleeper sofa, it is well suited for a couple or small family. Take a luxuriating soak in the in-suite Jacuzzi tub and then cozy up by the gas-log fireplace. There is a separate bath with walk-in shower in the hallway, a good-sized eat-in kitchen, and a covered front porch with comfortable wicker furniture and rocker. It's just a short drive into West Jefferson for good restaurants, art galleries, and shopping. The New River is of course, close by if you want to spend some time on the water; fishing, canoeing or tubing, enjoy the sandy riverside park just 2/10 mile down the road at Elk Shoals Camp (free). The Blue Ridge Parkway offers scenic vistas, numerous hiking trails, and picnic spots. What a wonderfully romantic get-away!! Other amenities at this cabin include: Charcoal grill, washer/dryer, central heat and A/C, Satellite TV, and DVD. Pets are welcome. Sleeps 4: 1 queen bed, 1 queen sleeper sofa
