Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6-7)

A ten minute drive across a charming car ferry leads to your private retreat. Nestled among the "cedars", this historic cottage offers a welcome retreat for those seeking a quiet sanctuary.

The cottage is located directly on the beautiful Saint John River. It is approximately 80 years old, and is of a solid log frame construction. It is warm and cozy inside, decorated recently in a primitive/country style, with all new bedding and linens. The wood burning fireplace will keep you cozy if a chilly night should happen. The fully equipped family style eat in kitchen ensures that you can enjoy your private holiday without venturing further than the local grocery store. The living room is set up to enjoy both the fireplace as well as the stunning views of the river.

The Cottage has a huge main deck, as well as 2 additional smaller decks, from which you can enjoy all that the outdoors has to offer. This main deck holds another large family style pine table as well as casual seating for another 8 people. The view of the river is clear from all deck venues.

A recently constructed walkway leads down to a beach directly on the water. A dock to house your speed or sailboat will be constructed in spring 2011.
