Beautiful, spacious, sun filled cottage, atop a cliff, ocean side on the south shore of Prince Edward Island. Spectacular panoramic south-westerly views from large, open concept living room, dining room and kitchen. Fully equipped bright, immaculate kitchen. 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms with ensuite. Walk for miles on sandbars. Walk, bike or drive to nearby Victoria Village for shops, restaurants, live theatre. One quiet dog may be okay with additional clean up fee. No smoking.

About Kim MacKay

This is our family cottage, built just 12 years ago. We spend about three weeks every summer here. We are located on the south side of the Island, where the water is 10 degrees warmer than the north shore. We are located on a point, on top of a cliff, and there are two beaches within 500 metres. The cottage inside is beautiful - full of light, and the floors and walls are all pine. Of course the ocean view is a knock-out from most rooms and deck. We enjoy walks to nearby Victoria-by-the-Sea when the tide is 'out' and browse around the local shops there. When the tide is 'high' you swim/kayak (available to rent in Victoria). We golf at a variety of scenic and exceptional courses within a 45-minute drive. Golfing in Prince Edward Island offers great value. In the evening we drive into Victoria (5 minutes) or Charlottetown (20 minutes) for live entertainment, and enjoy excellent restaurants.

Why Kim MacKay chose Charlottetown

We chose this location because the 'south' side is less crowded, much quieter, and some would say more beautiful than the north side. The cottage is fills with sunlight and we face west so enjoy beautiful sunsets over the ocean. The water is up to 10 degrees warmer. We are nearby the quaint Village of Victoria providing local crafts and restaurants and a renowned live theatre (Victoria Playhouse). Also, we are only 20 minutes drive to Charlottetown so it is very convenient.

My husband, 2 young children and I rented this BEAUTIFUL Cliff top cottage. I can't even begin to describe how beautiful the cottage is and how wonderful the view was. We watched the sunset every night. we played in the ocean with the kids everyday and when the tied is out you can walk for miles.... it is so peaceful and relaxing, this has been our best vacation in years... we look forward to returning in the near future. Thank you again
