This new, luxurious chalet is nestled at the edge of the Blue Ridge Parkway on a very quiet 1/2+ acre wooded property in the city limit. The location offers the convenience of a short drive to downtown Asheville and immediate access to the countryside.
You will be 3 min to a Blue Ridge Parkway access, less than 3 miles to I40, 5 min to downtown shops and restaurants via expressway 240, 4.1 miles to the Biltmore Estate, and walking distance to the fabulous Folk Art Center!
There is plenty of opportunity for hiking or biking on forest trails and on country roads without using your car...
In fact, the Mountain to Sea trail is right there and you could take a hike to the highest peak East of the Mississippi from your door step! Biking on the nearby country roads is also a treat; take a look for instance at the pastoral Warren Wilson College campus, just a healthy ride away.
The chalet is suitable for a couple (very comfortable queen size bed) and a loft can accommodate up to 2 children as needed. There is a fully equipped kitchen, full size bath, and private, covered deck. We do not accept pets in the chalet but will consider pet visitors if they can stay on the deck or in the guest room downstairs. Our living space is non-smoking and we strive to make it as healthy and relaxing as we would like it to be for our own vacations. The hot water is solar heated, the paints are non VOC, and most of the wood features are locally and custom made.
Equipment includes wireless internet access, 46' HD TV, CD, DVD, Blue-ray, MP3 and USB player.
The chalet has a washer and dryer for your convenience.
There is ample cabinetry and shelf space available and the kitchen is supplied with high quality appliances/utensils so that cooking is not just an option! Please, inquire by email if you'd like to view more pictures or if you have specific questions.
We also offer guests discount tickets for Biltmore Estate and for ultimate comfort we arrange for professional massage therapy on site. A sauna / tylarium is also available in the guest room. Please, inquire at time of reservation or a few days before arrival.

We made this chalet available for vacation rental in 2010 after careful consideration for the ease of access to numerous touristic destinations.
The location is ideal for a vacation rental because of it's proximity to what Asheville has to offer as a vibrant, liveable, and diverse community and ease of access to year round fun and enjoyment in the surrounding area. One can't help but feel deeply touch by the natural beauty of this region...and you will be able to walk from the chalet to appreciate it!

You will feel at home with both privacy and proximity to everything to make the most out of your stay in Asheville. You will find the chalet most welcoming and comfortable on your return from day trips.
Since we live next door, we are most of the time available to help immediately if you need.
Being on this side of town, you will not be slowed down by heavy traffic, making your stay all the more relaxing.
The sauna is always available to guests and we will arrange for professional massage on site as well. You might also appreciate being a mile away from the Blue Ridge Pkwy access ramp.
