100' private beach on the west shore of West Bay!: Welcome Inn greets with a large covered front porch, overlooking the bay front. A screened sunroom with dining set overlooks the large, private backyard, bordering a woods at the back of the lot. Often, deer, rabbits and wild turkeys grace the grounds. The private beach frontage is across the road. A small deck down the stairway overlooks the spacious sandy beach with horse shoe and rustic fire pits. The Welcome Inn is one mile from public parking for 'The Tart Trail', a beautiful hiking/biking trail spanning several counties. The Grand Traverse region is a beautiful natural setting along Lake Michigan. There are major wine vineyards, lighthouses, sailing and watersport activities throughout the area. Traverse City is the cultural center of the region, close to the world famous Interlochen Arts Academy, many art galleries, museums, and local theaters; hosts the minor league baseball Beach Bums, National Cherry Festival and a new tradition of a highly respected Arts Film Festival
