Welcome to The'White'Cottage on Newfound Lake. In the early 1940's,the original owners (The White's) started here with the simple idea of camping by the lake. After falling in love with Newfound Lake & the gorgeous mountain views, they eventually built this cozy cottage and made it a spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath home. Mrs.White, formally an artist, filled this home with hand-painted scenic artwork which still decorates the walls today. Her love for antiques and homemade quilts is also evident in the array of eclectic home furnishings.
The beautiful, clean and clear waters of Newfound Lake are just steps away from this charming home that is filled with the comforts of today while still offering the charm of yesteryear.
You'll love the oeverzied deck for lounging or grilling, the screened in porch with glider, and the private patio for resting and watching the sunset.
Knotty pine walls throughout, offer a unique look of warmth and charm. Enjoy your meals in the country sized kitchen with seating for all. In the family room you can relax on one of the 2 couches (w/recliners) and enjoy a boardgame with your family.
If hiking the White Mountains or just boating on one of the cleanest and most beautiful lakes in the Northeast is your pleasure, than this is the place to be. There are many attractions that will appeal to all in this area of Newfound Lake.

Newfound Lake which is in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire is only 2 hr from Boston. Some of the surrounding areas would include Lake Winnipesaukee, Meredith, Plymouth & Bristol. Fifteen minutes to Waterville Valley & 25 minutes to Loon Mtn. At any given time you can attend one of the many craft shows or events that take place throughout the summer months.
Area: Newfound Lake - The 4th largest lake in the state of New Hampshire. Featured on Chronicle as 'The Best Kept Secret' in New England. Motorboats and jet skis are allowed.
You can bring your motorboat and launch it and buy gas at the Marina that is just around the corner. Boats can be secured at the cottage dock or you have the option of mooring your boat. The lake is 7 miles long and 1 mile wide. It is located in the Lakes region of New Hampshire just south of the White Mountains, which offer many natural attractions and activities. A local country store is only a mile
away. The area offers fine dining, as well as local spots w/regional flair. The cottage is also 20 min. away from shopping, movie theaters, antiques, outlet stores and golf courses. We can give you local suggestions on request.
