This charming vacation rental cabin at 195 Mount Owen Drive, Driggs, Idaho, 83422 is offered by Hill Property Management. Located just off Targhee Ski Hill Road and three miles from the center of Driggs. Situated mid way between Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National park - both about ninety minutes away.

The house is well suited to accommodate eight people and there is a large deck and 2.5 acres to spread out on. The views to Grand Targhee Resort and the Teton Mountain range are superb - not to mention the entire 360 degree vistas. For skiers and those headed 'out and about' there is a weather radio for up to date conditions.

Over Teton Pass lies Jackson Hole with myriad attractions and activities. The area is well known for its skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and just nine miles away is wonderful family skiing at Grand Teton Mountain resort. There is also Nordic skiing and snowmobiling - while in summer there's flyfishing on the Snake river or the Teton river.

Rafting, mountain biking, hiking and just relaxing are many of the things on offer here.

I am William (Bill) W. Rosen of Franklin Tennessee. For many years, I rode horses at a Jackson, WY ranch and always wanted to own a place in the area with a view of the beautiful Tetons. In 2006, I was lucky to find this house that had been very well built by the then maintenance supervisor for Teton National Park. Two of my requirements were that a house had to have a view of the Tetons and had to have some land. This house fit every criteria. I am an attorney and photographer originally from New Orleans and now live in Franklin, TN. Included in the house are many of the photographs that I took over many years of visiting the Tetons. Since October, 2010, the house has been managed by Hill Property Management. It was formerly listed with another property manager and was known as 'Mt. Owen Escape.' In 2009, the address was officially changed to 1935 Fall Line Drive in order to satisfy EMS requirements, but Google Maps still has it as 195 Mt. Owen Drive. Enjoy.'

The convenience to two airports played a big part in our decision, and also the very gracious people we come across in the area.

What makes this house unique

The most unique benefit to staying at our property is an in-your-face view of the Grand Teton from the deck on the East side of the house. There are the smells and sounds of nature, prairie grasses and mature cottonwood trees and plenty of water attract migrating birds. It is a heavenly place to experience.

Comfortable, Spacious, Dog Friendly

My wife and I along with our two dogs spent five nights at the Driggs Cabin in early October 2013. The home had more than enough space for the four of us. It has a well appointed kitchen and large refrigerator. Convenient entry via the garage. Strong Wifi service and satellite TV. Located at the foot of the western flank of the Teton Mountains. Ten minutes from Central Driggs and forty five minutes from Jackson, WY.

Beautiful and relaxing cabin. Our dogs loved running around the yard and on the snow covered lawn. We had unusually rainy and snowy weather during our stay but we caught glimpses of the snow covered Tetons when the clouds broke. Within a two hour drive to Yellowstone and one hour to Grand Teton National Parks. Good fishing along the Teton River close by as well as the Snake River.

Can't wait to visit again.

Rented this home for a 10 day ski vacation in Grand Targhee and loved every minute spent inside.
The listing is accurate and the pictures do a great job describing the interior.
I loved the expansive views of the Tetons and the resort hills, covered in snow and basking in alpenglow by the time we came back from skiing. This house has huge windows facing East on both floors so you can get your mind blown away by the gorgeous picture-perfect mountains from almost every room. I wish I could attach photos to this review.
The heated garage and the gas stove were very convenient. The house is well equipped; every appliance and WiFi worked fine. The beds are huge and very comfy. This was a great experience and I would return tomorrow for more ski and snow.
We can recommend the Royal Wolf restaurant in Driggs for its tasty food and great service. Broulim's beats out grocery stores in Jackson and is cheaper, too. Driggs also has three decent ski stores, if you need new stuff.

This house is a great skiing "basecamp". 20 minutes to Targhee, 30 minutes to the top of Teton Pass. 10 minutes to the Broulim's. Great views of " The Grand". Flexibility in sleeping arrangments and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Kitchen is very functional and open livingroom, dinning, kitchen areas make for a nice sociable setting after a day in the "pow"!
