'Casa Moskito' gives you the best of all worlds in Playa Del Carmen! Located in the gated community of Playacar Phase I, you are a 10 minute walk to the 5th Avenue shopping/nightlife and the ferry to Cozumel. At the same time, you enjoy the privacy of your own home and pool on the oceanfront of the most beautiful waters in the world! 'Casa Moskito' was the first beach villa built in Playacar in 1985, it has survived several tropical storms and hurricanes including Wilma. While it has all the amenities you need to enjoy your beach vacation, it is original and rustic. Playacar is also home to the Robert von Hagge, 18 hole championship golf course, Mayan archaeological sites and a bird sanctuary. Please note: we have opted not to detract from our view of the Carribean by constructing a rail on our patio (see pictures). Therefore, we would not recommend our home for very young children (under 5?).

Renters should be aware that there is no beach area in front of the property as is described. Edge of pool is directly above a 10 ft. seawall. This is a safety concern if you have small children with you, as they can fall directly off the ege of pool into the ocean. House and pool areasa re clean, but rustic.
