Access to shorefront from cottage via private, untouched marked wooded path or short 5 minute walk down Bay Pines Rd. Cottage is also within walking distance to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, art gallery, and scenic ocean lookouts.
Wildlife such as deer, fox, wild turkey, birds, etc. can be seen in large front yard which expands out to wooded area on 3 sides. Flying squirrel are active in large oak tree in front yard and you can also feed seagull from deck railing.

Local activities include Hardy Boat Cruises open from mid-May to mid-October and Monhegan Island Ferry. Take cruises to see running lighthouses, coastline, seal, puffin and whale. Also visit the Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Park and Ft. William Henry.
