a GREAT Union Pier rental

A lovely, relaxing 4-bedroom home with wonderful amenities! The house is well laid out with an open floorplan. Three of the bedrooms are upstairs, the master is on the 1st floor and has a door onto the screen porch.
Let's talk about the screen porch - it's huge, well laid out and extremely comfortable. If you've seen pictures on another website, they may be old. There's now a table and 6 chairs on one end, and a sitting area with a couch, chairs and a coffee table on the other. I could've spent the entire week out there.
Let's talk about beach accessories!! There's a stroller, a wagon, and tons-tons-tons of beach toys. Umbrellas and pails and shovels and goggles and kites and beach balls and beach chairs and more inflatable floating devices than I can remember (rings, water wings, etc.). It was great for taking our 14-month-old to 1 of the 2 nearby beaches (less than a 5 minute walk to either one).
There's a fire pit in the back yard with plenty of seating, and there are also collapsible camp chairs in the garage if you want something different.
Everything was supplied - paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, laundry detergent and loads of beach towels. There were even shampoos, conditioners and body wash in the showers!! You don't get this with those "big" companies.
The description doesn't say this, but a crib was provided for us. I don't know if it was purchased or rented, but it was brand new. You may want to ask if you need one.
You can use the attached garage!!!!!! A huge plus!! It was raining pretty hard on our departure day and we were able to load the car while staying dry.
Only one short block from Red Arrow Highway, if you are a light sleeper be warned. My husband is, but beginning the 2nd night he didn't hear a thing (the windows were closed).
We plan to return with a larger group next summer to really take advantage of all the space (it was only me, spouse and our toddler). We won't make it this year, it was already booked for the week we wanted.
Pack only your clothes, it's all you'll need (and you don't even need to bring many clothes since there's a washer/dryer). Everything else you'll need is there.
(There's a Wal-Mart SuperCenter and a Meijer at Exit 34B off I-94 in Michigan City, IN if you forget an essential at home. But - I stress - chances are it'll be at the house.)
